they should drop the account plan price and charge only for the hosting plan.

Hi Ran! Super informative video, thanks. Pretty much what I was looking for for weeks. Is this correct?: 1. Sign up for a pro account. 2. Create client website as a project within account. 3. Register a free Webflow account for your client. 4. Transfer project to client's Webflow account. 5. Give them the login credentials.

Once you complete a client's website and then export the code to them, does it still count towards your 10 projects on the lite plan?

They definitely need to simplify the plans for us. Makes sense but not easy to digest and understand when you land on the page for the first time..

Hi Ran, do you export your code and host your own personal websites on another host or do you host them on Webflow? It would seem much cheaper to host elsewhere. Also, thank you for your incredible content and sharing your knowledge.

Hi Greg. Thanks for the great video! I'm just starting out and I have been honestly confused by the multiple pricing options. One thing I wonder if you could clarify. You said at 4:05 that you open your clients a free Webflow account and then transfer the site to them. I though the free accounts only accepted sites with a maximum of 2 pages -- what if the site is bigger? I'm curious and still haven't got my first client to test it out.

Hi Ran, they say "Add a site plan to any project when it's ready to go live" but I can't design more than 2 pages and limited cms if I don't upgrade from free staying (site plan) - "This site is currently on free staging, which comes with 500 views, 50 CMS items, and 2 static pages. This site also has limited CMS management and form customization functionality". So, I'm a bit confused because that means that I need to pay for the hosting as well while designing/building my client's website.

Would someone kindly give me some advice. I am about to put my first ever webflow site onto a site plan, what I would like to know is, can I delete the original design from my workspace or does it have to stay there for the entire life of the live site. If I don't misunderstand I also need to pay for the site plan as the website has a custom domain and more than 2 pages. At the end of the work I transfer the website to my client's account. Is the site plan going to automatically move with the website to my client or what?

I want to use webflow for my portfolio, therefore I will only keep it active while I look for a job. Once I have one I wouldn't keep it active anymore and would stop paying for it. I'm assuming I need the Account Pro plan. I create the clients website and export it. The client signs up for a free Webflow account with hosting to use the exported site I created. The client can use Webflow CMS to update their website now. Is that correct? Can you clearly tell me how this process is done? Last question. Does exporting a website and hosting it to another host like Bluehost work? I heard that ecommerce sites exported from Webflow doesnt work on another host. I need clarification please. I've been reseaching for days and don't know if i should go with Wordpress of Webflow.

Have multiple website posted in one Hosting account on GoDaddy with custom Domain URLS going to each. How do you do that with WebFlow. I understand there is some method to do that.

You're also limited to only 2 pages with the free account, so you can't actually do anything substantial for free. Just useful for trying out the tools and see what's possible. Or if you're making a single page website.

What do you do when your clients want changes?

If you're transferring a full website to a clients free webflow account, how does this work seen as a free plan only permits 2 pages and has fewer features than the higher tier plans? Will the client lose these features? Awesome video btw!

I am building my portfolio on webflow currently with five projects on it. I tried creating five pages for the five projects each but webflow is asking me to upgrade to a paid plan. Is there a way I can resolve this?

Didn't really go through what the different site plans do and which one suits what type of user. Perhaps the hosting site plans are different now to what they were when you created the video.

I had no idea you could transfer a website to another account for the client to deal with their own billing. I thought the 10 site limit for Lite plan was pretty restrictive, when other platforms have limits around 25-30. But that makes a lot of sense.

Let me get this straight: You as the web designer/developer: Have an ACCOUNT PLAN -You create the client website, on YOUR Account -If client approves of it -You create them an account and have them pay a SITE PLAN -THEN.. you transfer the website (yes?) I ask this (regarding that client has to buy a SITE PLAN, before you transfer the website, to clients account. Since to my knowledge the free account only limits you to 2 static pages (e.g. home/about(or whatever)) and if the client website has more than 2 static pages (e.g. Home, About, Showcase, Services), wouldn't there be a conflict when transferring the website, due to the free plan limitation?

What happens if the website you build on a PRO account you transfer to a FREE account and you have built a website with more than 2 pages? Do they lose access to any pages more than 2? Because you get Max. 2 pages on the free websites.

Ok.. I've got one question... What if you already have a hosting service you paid for with another platform, do you still need to have your clients pay for hosting?

Hi Ran! You got me using Webflow a while back, and I really do love the platform. However, I too, don't like to have the ownership of a client's site after the contract is completed, especially now with GDPR in EU. However, you brought something up in the video, how you, as the designer and owner of a pro account plan, can transfer the ownership to the client. The question on my mind then; can the client reap the benefits of your pro account plan features, such as white-labelling, once you transfer - or would they have to upgrade their account?

it is confusing even if though they layout nice and clean to make it look non-confusing. I accidentally purchase the wrong one.
