I enjoyed the PPV.. Mariah May becoming the Women's Champion, Jamie Hayter returning, Bryan Danielson winning the championship, Ricochet's debut, and Will Osprey winning were awesome moments.
I watched the event and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Say what you want about AEW but me and my older brother agree that they put on banger payperviews so job well done Tony Khan for delivering another banger. Now I'm looking forward to seeing where things go heading into All Out.
Would make no sense to have Bryan not be added to the legacy of the title. One of the best wrestlers ever. Gotta be smart towards the future of the titles. Swerve can get it back down the line.
@@tobiasdye7007 AEW is not known for being smart and no Daniel did not need to be added to the legacy, he is already one of the greatest of all time and a HoF, and will have to relinquish his title anyway due to his injured neck, then you stop the momentum of Swerve who was your companies best champion, you got to be smart and actually think. This was an unnecessary win, Swerve resigned and could have had a long lasting meaningful reign while Bryan is leaving the company to come back home to WWE after his neck injury.
@@nineether3757You’re correct, but it was more for the future of AEW than Bryan. It’s pretty important that they have a history of top names to hold the title. Jericho, Omega and Joe weren’t going to be around for a long time so having those names in the history books adds prestige to the brand, plus cements their status as top performers. It’s a win, win for AEW, even if Bryan loses the belt pretty quickly so he can spend time with his family. Swerve will definitely get it back in the future, he’s got more matches to do against Hangman.
This year's All In was way better booked than the previous one. Even the pre-show was awesome. They could've booked an impromptu squash match for Saraya vs Hayter, but overall, such a good show. The AC entrance for Ospreay, the casino gauntlet, Bryan celebrating with his family. A+
Ngl, I literally thought Christian Cage was gonna cash in his casino battle royal contract and win the AEW title from Bryan Danielson as a reference to when Randy Orton cashed in his MITB Contract and won the WWE title at Summerslam
This was the best PPV of the year so far. Not a bad match. Even the pre-show, even Jericho, everything - all good. And an ending I did not see coming. MOTN - May/Storm. Great, great, great PPV.
@@BlakeCollins-b9c WWE shills gotta shill, I guess. WM40 had some dull undercard and I am over the bloodline, and Summerslam was good, but I preferred this. That's because I like wrestling over soap opera, i guess. Then again, if grown men fighting over a bracelet is your thing - great!
That decision to make Sweve loses made zero sense but again it's AEW so it made sense to them, they could had Swerve be the Roman reigns tier champion maybe not as long as a title reign but he could have had the title longer then 3 months, Bryan did not need the title to solidify his legacy as an all time great and HOF, this match gets a down for me
@@danielclark1304 why did Bryan have to win? If he had an injured neck and would have to relinquish the title anyways? You had an opportunity to build up Swerve to something special, solidify him as a real Superstar now you halted yourself and the companies momentum, MJF is getting redundant and boring, and was not bringing no new viewership to the product, but Swerve was bringing a whole new demographic, and everyone was really starting to support his push, the amount of great matches you could have put together would have been Great. But AEW will be AEW that's why the company and it's product sucks, that's why wrestlers are leaving the company in a hurry, and then you have the Young Bucks as your VP's that has been a recipe for disaster.
This was one of the best wrestling PPV’s I’ve seen in a long time. Just about every match was solid, but hands down the best moment was seeing Bryan Danielson win the AEW Championship!
I didn't manage to come watch this live. HOWEVER I did manage to sit and keep Nicholas company while he downloaded it after seeing sexy Wilbourn in a tux.
Keep feeling like Bryan Danielson has some _Sasuke_-tier plot armor. Every other heel gets to walk away a winner, but god forbid we let Swerve retire Danielson with his _family in the crowd._ Jesus wept. If not for Ricochet's appearance (someone I've wanted in AEW for _years_ now) and getting to watch Sting drop the Young Bucks, I think I'd want my money back.
No, sorry just no, there is a reason he wrestled multi man matches all the time generally in party style matches. He knew he couldn’t work a singles match.
Bryan Danielson announces that he's going to limit how much he wrestles, so Tony puts the title on him. Yeah, that makes sense. Ricochet already lost a match. He will flounder in AEW. Christian Cage's win was weak booking, in my opinion. It wasn't a bad event, don't get me wrong.
They took the title off hook just because Chris needed to be Chris just to give it back to hook down the line. This whole thing did nothing and now I don't care about hook being the ftw champion. It's an irelevant title.
Danielson fan here...he 100% should NOT have won. Chance to move Swerve to the stratosphere make him the AEW version of the Final Boss. And Daniel is GOAT tier 100000% future HoF. Didn't need the strap and they could have found a way to void the stipulation without backlash IMHO.
@@tomseville2345 Yes, I saw her name. Yes, I heard her music. That doesn't change the fact that Hayter was a female pro wrestler with bright orange curly hair and nearly pale white skin wearing an outlandish orange fur-lined coat making a surprise appearance.
@@PoeticPoker262 I opened RU-vid to look up something completely unrelated to wrestling and it was in my fucking feed. I didn't go looking for it. Do you just not open RU-vid in case it spoils something random you weren't looking for? No, because most channels have the decency to not display the results of a live event that had occurred an hour prior.
So weird that the stage is gigantic, the crowd is big, but, but it feels just like any other PPV, that anti-magic of AEW is just something weird and scary even, LOL, is like 2/3 fans in Wembley are just ain't fans of wrestling whatsoever.
Yeah im that guy, I'm sorry. I love whatculture. But I hate these live videos. I can't focus on the content and enjoy it, all the ruckus ruins the video for me. I bet it's probably fun being there. But just to watch as online content, ill never be able to enjoy like other people can So many stupid chants
Watch a few different English Premiere League football matches you will find us UK blokes have many different chants that definitely don't sound the same.
Even though I won't watch AEW because of how Tony Kahn does stuff behind the scenes I'm happy that Bryan Danielson got his moment and AEW still doing surprisingly well. I don't hate AEW I just dislike the person who runs the company.
Figured this how the UK crowd would react since they are the only AEW fans left that really really care about these shows, AEW should just move there whole operation to the UK, since it seems like they are willing to cheer anything this promotion does.
