omg The dude who ate the lime was PointCrow I love his videos he's a speedrunner and has been popping off the last few years its great seeing how big he is now
I reckon If Speed actually trains for football, learn the rules, to shoot, or plays deep where he wont be caught offside for a good 6 months or so, Dude will be a monster for the charity match, him being more compitent will be the key to breaking the view count next charity match bet! Guy has that Manny speed and he's a teen vsing against 30 year old sidemen, guy has it in the bag.
People were saying the CQX bloke shouldn’t have played because he’s never kicked a ball in his life. Whereas the sideman have all played football together and have chemistry.
Honestly I would love to see something like the OG Wembley Cups use to have like a wildcard player like an legend for example a Roberto Carlos or like even someone for content wise like a Micah Richards (Who i would prefer since he’s more up to date and understanding of content creators )who everyone adores that can play for 10 or so mins and more. Nothing too much like a just retired Professional player to change a match completely but yeah like idk if everyone remembers but when it was ChrisMD versus Jamie Carragher on the field was funny asf
Im convinced that Fosh knew about the color of the card because if he earns a red but shows a yellow it will look like Fosh doesn't get the rules but if he earns a red but he anticipated the yellow then it looks like he thinks that Clattenburg is soft
Defense of sidemen was too good. You weaken the Allstar defense and buffed your own with Angry Ginge. It was rigged but Simon is too stubborn to admit that 😂
No one knew angry Ginge was going to be that good. That day was the first time any of the sidemen met Angry Ginge in person. Also the all stars had 32 shot attempts vs sidemen’s 18. They would have scored more if Chris/Filly/Fosh tried scoring instead of passing it to speed.
@@Ozneb_ Bruh Simon, Tobi and Manny all played at 60-70 percent at most. Simon especially barely tried and he's much fitter this year. Theo's injury and Filly's cramps really sealed the deal but defences were miles apart. KSI is an athlete and 2nd best sidemen keeper after Tobi. 2nd half was more like Chris MD vs Sidemen FC.
To avoid people saying about manny try harding, how about him just not playing in future? Let’s be honest he offers nothing in terms of content, and he’s only there because of Toby. Ask the public if they want him and 99% will say no, harsh but true.
1:07:00 the organisation was good but getting out was awful, missed my train because they escorted 60k people to a single station, working overtime this week 😮💨 (an hour after the match, we were only around the corner)
So what? He's a Sideman and it's the Sidemen charity match. Most fans not interested in seeing Randy on the pitch over a Sideman. And Vikk scoring would've been wayyy more entertaining and gotten a bigger cheer anyway.
others deserve to play, not saying randy, theyve flown out a lot of players so giving someone a chance, viks plays every year and has played for lots of minutes, hes had his moment, josh shouldve been up front @@sukanyaiyer8776
I think one change that would have made quite a bit of difference, was swapping the late additions around. So adding Ginge to Allstars, and Kon to Sidemen instead. Allstars was pretty weak at the back even before any injuries...
Randy I was 136kg now 4 months later I'm 102kg. I see that you doing well maybe not as fast but still progress. Tip from me I do gym almost every day but most importantly I do Keto diet try it out its worth it. Mu friend doing it I years now and he went from 120 to now 85kg but ripped. Trust me you will have more energy and feel healthy
Randy we get it you wanted Vik off the pitch, let it go. And as a fan I'm more interested in seeing a Sideman score, Vikk scoring would've been wayyy more exciying and gotten a louder cheer than Randy scoring just being real. Also why target Vik you could have asked any of the other players to come off too. Simon and Randy are so passive aggressive towards Vik in so many episodes, they should really talk it out with him instead of holding on to some resentment and being passive aggressive in so many episodes. For fucks sake grow up and get along.
@erosion271 I'm fully aware of this. However the match was great. Maybe the YTAS didn't stand much of a chance after Theo's injury.. however the match was amazing and entertaining.
Simon, you won 8-7 last year, should have been 8-8, and your only logic this year was to weaken their defence and still call the teams fair. xQc had no protection in the box. the teams were not fair in the slightest, and it was clear from the start that Theo wouldnt be able to go the full game at his normal ability
Exactly and they admitted with Theo out it became very one sided. A good team doesn't depend only on one good player and a recently injured one at that. The rest of the team should've been good too, Manny should have played for the all stars.
Simon is being really disingenuous when he tries to claim the teams were remotely even. KSI is in the opposition half towards the end. Manny, Tobi, and Simon were quite clearly not trying and they still scored 5 between them. If they wanted to, that game would’ve been 15-5 easily. If you give RU-vid Allstars a GK who knows the rules of the sport, and give them back Harry pinero and Noah Beck, then you’d have a genuinely even game.
being healthy and after his surgery, Ethan may actually be the best player in the sidemen. obviously Tobi has skills and speed, and Simon and Harry have insane shot power, but Ethan is solid at every position, has great finishing abilities, can run for a full match no problem, and can even put on the burners now
Simon, your dislike for Vik and Chris is way too much now. If it were up to Simon, sidemen would have instantly replaced Vik with Randy, not only in the match but in the Sidemen itself. You can clearly see how he favours Randy every single time especially when it’s Randy or Vik.
Exactly. Simon and Randy have a serious hate boner against Vik. They should talk it out with him instead of being so passive aggressive in so many episodes.
ChrisMD had to try hard because up front they had nothing.. whereas you guys had Tobi and Manny. 2 players who play together ALOT and even Simon. Its not the same thing
The second the match finished and everyone was walking out all I could think about was I can't wait to watch it again next year!! Amazing event!!! Well done everyone involved! And well done Randy you smashed it!
No matter what people say, nothing can deny it was a successful day. Raised an unreal amount of money and entertained so many people. I can't wait for next year already! Also little personal praise from me to Jack Spedicey, man didn't seem to make an impact, but honestly he was a silent baller. Would never of thought he had it in his locker:p Much love, keep entertaining fella's
@@lorcanzo2498 Yeah pretty much the same here in the UK, Football is like almost universally played throughout the country by all the lads growing up, In my friend group in particular there was even 2 girls that would rinse some of the lads haha. They were pretty good..
I was so happy you guys got such a huge name in Jacksepticeye. He said in his own video how much he enjoyed it, how gassed he was to be involved and how much it meant to him, wishing his dad could have seen him out there. Such a humble big name and such a down to earth guy. Loved everything about the match, it was absolutely brilliant and was so fun to watch with it’s perfect balance of a big production, great football but the moments that hype people up (which is the idea of the charity aspect, not pro footballers, RU-vidrs at heart!) Great job everyone involved, the money for charity is unreal. The exposure was wonderful, RU-vidrs can play football but mostly can put on the biggest show and sell out the stadium and raise so so much money for charity because people want to see their favourite streamers, RU-vidrs, personalities playing. It was wonderful. I don’t know if you guys noticed, I saw that I’mDontai donated under funny names a few times. So many people were watching on Kick and Twitch (though y’know) so the numbers were much higher, no doubt. XQC was actually really good for someone who doesn’t play! I think he’s used to shrugging off the criticism and said he loved it, stepped outside his comfort zone and made new friends which was wholesome as hell. I watched him on Side+ and it was so good to see Felix not XQC! I think that you guys are the type of influence he needs in his life. Helping him step out of that computer chair and in to a goal live in front of how many people?! Love to you all and great podcast as always. Stay as humble and wonderful as you guys always are ❤❤
Really looved the event. imo the balance of the teams was fair in terms of strength (minus the injuries), but I think the main difference of "unfairness" would be literally the people who do and don't understand the game. Having Jidion and Kai and Speed together is too many people who don't have experience with football and the rules, maybe balancing them between the teams would make the balance proper. For example, I genuinely feel a Jidion and Ginge swap would make it almost completely even. Regardless, so much fun! Congratulations on a successful event!
I’ve really enjoyed hearing the evolution of the golf conversations this year on the podcast! I played in a lot of local tournaments growing up, and we always had to walk and carry our own bags. I could feel the shoulder pain Randy was describing like it was my own. 😂
Now regarding the match itself, you keep saying lineups were fair, how all stars were dominating until Theo got injured. You have admitted that the more goals are scored the more entertaining it gets but let’s name the goal scorers and mid-field for each side. All stars: Chris MD Theo Philly Niko Chunkz Sidemen: Manny (previously trained at Football academy) Tobi Simon Ethan (currently plays football regularly) Harry Compare the fitness and experience levels it’s nowhere near. As far as trying hard is concerned, Chris was out of necessity. Manny didn’t have to but he did.
If XQC is in goal next year you should just remove the rule where he can't pick the ball up if it's passed back by his teammate. That rule caused his brain to lag in a few spots. haha
46:09 I agree with Randy that there should be some chant next year, but obvs something natural. I went to the game (feel very grateful and I loved it) and it was kinda quiet for most of it apart from the big chances/shots on goal/tackles/ksi-speed moments etc. It wasn't bad though, it's just I know that it's usually filled with chants in normal matches to create an atmosphere. There was the odd tottenham chant though and Mexican wave. Anyway it was an amazing experience and I thought it was very fitting to have it at West Ham because I know most of the sidemen and friends lived in east london in the old youtube days too
I think everyone knows the game wouldve been alot closer if Theo hadnt gotten injured. Sidemen probably wouldve still won but it wouldve close like last year
Although I watched that Twitch streamer video, I didn’t even realise that you donated to PointCrow in it. The crossover I didn’t realise ever existed hahaha
Okay hear me out.. what if they get goalies like Ben Foster for the first half then have someone else be the goalie at the second half? Then the previous goalies can play in front lol
American here, used to hockey rules. at 34:51 how was Simon not offsides? he was passed the defender and the ball was still behind him? was it cause the pass to him was beyond half pitch?
Correct me if I’m wrong but manny initiated the pass while Simon was in an onside position and when the pass is initiated while onside that’s when you can run past the defender. Well at least I’m pretty sure that’s how it works
@@therealhb1763 also if your saying I’m wrong then all of these goals would be offside ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-459zkTf9Jso.htmlsi=f7yJth5YrZ3Ur1ZX
@@kd9017 you're right. Offside is checked at the moment the pass is played. That is why when replays of these checks occur, a freeze frame happens at the moment of the pass: check the replays on Kai's offside goal, Manny's hat trick goal, Simon's goal.
