Pretty crazy that there was more exclusive figures last year then main wave figures. Hopefully 2023 will balance that out a little more. Also glad that In Space Silver is getting re released because I missed the Walgreens one. My favorite figures from last year are the Ninja Turtles ones, the Ninjetti figures, Finster and the Astronema and Ecliptor two pack.

That's impressive you have memories of when you were 3 I definitely don't have any that young. My first introduction was 93 with the original MMPR I was older than most I was 15 still liked it but mostly just the action and Mecha's and Kaiju but didn't really stick with it. Very happy to start watching Super Sentai a few years ago when I first watched Power Rangers there was no internet and had no idea they used footage from a Japanese show so finding that out later was really cool.

A wonderful video and, while obvious due to you being level headed, I love how calm and explanatory your discussion at the start was. It's sad but I have taken to recording the whole opening of the parcel from door to, hopefully, complete check because I had issues with returning Ninjetti White as if I would steal a head lol

Totally agree about the exclusives, I like getting figures at retail so I can pick the best looking ones, but now with the windowless boxes it doesn't work. Don't really want anything from the post Saban seasons, so I'll be buying a lot less.

You know i have my own problem with the Lightning Collection Lost Galaxy Figures dare i say best ranger team in the line. Which is great being my 1st season and your favorite season. How ever what is Hasbro doing with the LG Accessories? Picking and choosing Accessories shouldn't be a game. Wave 8 Leo had a quasar launcher a unmemorable weapon no Extended Quasar Saber but Wave 9 Kai has a transdagger. Good inconsistency between CONSECUTIVE Waves. Then Damon and Kendrix have their trans dagger but the main team ends with Maya quasar Launcher. It's sad not every core ranger has their extended Quasar Saber when it's the defining weapon of the season . Like sell Maya with her delta daggers. Then re-release Leo with his trans dagger. Lastly re release everyone with their quasar launchers justifiable double dipping. Also why did Magna Defender not have a head sculpt when every other ranger from Wave 1 and 2 did?

ya gotta agree with all the points. idk why hasbro drops the ball when it comes with power ranger when G.I. Joe had such a fantastic run. most LC figures i got this year was because I just happened to stumble upon on sale or clearance. I would only get them if they were 50%+ off. That def help my wallet and if the figure QC was trash it was justified for being on sale. Thinking back I def shouldve stocked up on Trex Sentry. There were about 4-5 at my target going for $6. The only figures I have gotten at retail would be the Street Fighter Collab ones as I deemed they were uniquely worth. Trust me I wanted to be avid LC collector but year after year hearing about QC and it not getting better has veered me away. love the effort youve put in the video.

I liked the rant at the beggining, most of the stuff informed I already knew, but I hadn't seen so much examples as shown in the video. It's surprisingly, unfortunately in a bad way. One additional information, here in Brazil I gave up on getting a "correct" Lunar Wolf, every time I asked a seller it was always the white boots version, which I ended up buying in a sale despite the error. So maybe when we have those cases with a correct and an incorrect lot some places might only receive one (I can say for sure, my country is huge, but that seems to be a possibility as it appears we don't get LC figures in big numbers, they only sell online, in a couple of retailers, no local store has them, at least here in the 2nd biggest capital of the country, Rio de Janeiro)

I hate how they messed up both the time force figures because time force is my all time favorite. I pray they get updates. Side note-wondering if you can do a video on how to get into the power rangers comics cus that seems to be where all the good stuff has been coming from for power rangers in the past few years.

Mikeys nunchuck daggers fit well in the holsters of you put them together via the pegs and then slide them into the holsters chain up from the bottom side of the holster

I'm still waiting for DaiRanger/Squadron Ranger figures (from the comics). Those are my favorite suits. Then again, with the QC issues we've had recently, I'd rather keep waiting.

That’s the one problem I had with Bandai’s Power Rangers figures. When I would take the weapons out of the box, they would just be bent, and I’m kind of disappointed that Hasbro is basically doing the same thing just with plastic free packaging. Don’t get me wrong, the yard on the front of the boxes nice and everything, it’s just that I would like to see the figures in the box.

With the Walgreens stuff, those are exclusives that are fully purchased by the retailer. So it's all on Walgreens to market distribute the figure. From what I've heard though, the hasbro/Walgreens deal ended in 2022 so hopefully we won't have to deal with those exclusives anymore

I remember the Transformers team mentioning that it was up to Walgreens to reveal them. But then Marvel and Star Wars would reveal their Walgreens exclusives even tho they weren’t going up for order so I’m not sure. Luckily those days are looking to be behind us

From an outsider's view, and by that, I mean someone who only has MMPR Yellow & Blue and may as well get the remastered versions just to collect the whole team as planned rather than pay the steep prices for the other releases, I do have to wonder if Hasbro is simply planning, prototyping, and doing too many releases to keep up with the issues that keep coming up. And I know they can't just slow down to make sure the Lost Galaxy Rangers have the correct boots, or that a detail is painted or molded correctly for it's mass-release, but some form of slow down does seem like it'd be ideal to help with QC issues that came up over 2022. Since it seemed like new releases were either leaking before intended or releasing often, usually because international toy stores would get stuff in earlier than intended or because the release date was moved forward without little notice. Again, sort of an outsider's view, so I could be wrong on the whole thing and it's just what it seems like to me.

I honestly think 2022 was the worst year for hasbro with power rangers (main line and lightning collection) with the prices going up and the quality going down I'm thinking about skipping the line completely. I want to get the alian rangers set but with shipping to Israel it's 150$ and I'm not spending 30$ for a basic figure that will most likely have QC issues and Hesbeo will not help on a side note : the bike you used for the dino charge red ranger was it the Boa bike or the kyuranger bike?

I usually do pretty good with Hasbro figures myself. Breakage is rare. NECA tho, I always handle those with as much care but even then, some figures have the joints painted over and will break anyways...

Hopefully the issues at hasbro get fixed this year. With all of hasbro the price increases this year are inexcusable for the QC issues. Like because of the exclusivity the ninja rangers are all $50 in Canada due to being at TRU. Also regret not getting the ecliptor pack when it was on sale a few days ago for $34 in Canada on Amazon......cause within a day it shot up to the new two-pack price of $82.

I feel like Hasbro doesn't take the Power Rangers line serious. It takes a lot of angry fans yelling at them to make corrections. The crazy QC issues could honestly be the death of this toy line. Hoping that doesn't happen but 2023 ain't starting of on a good note. I think the monster designs all look incredible and the size doesn't bother me. What does bother me is how most desperately need more paint. Those figs always go on clearance which is a shame. The deluxe figs are very hit or miss too. Me personally I only pick up figs way after release so I know what to look out for. It started out promising but as the years gone by LC has fallen behind. GI Joe Classified started out meh and now is peak fun. Hopefully that magic can rub off into PR.

Dropped pinned figures Plastic-free packaging Less promotion on hasbro live streams. I'm starting feel like hasbro is about to drop the franchise. I had to drop the lightning collection because of the inconsistent weapons & qc.

Dropped Pinned Figures. This isn't supposed to be a negative. Aesthetically the goal is to reduce visible joints and connectors on organic figures of people. Marvel Legends and Gi Joe have switched to pinless as well. It's just seems like QC dropped the ball in the tolerances. Go to a ML reddit, people are ticked at figures being released with visible pins(with other things). Plastic free packaging is across the board for the company. So it's not just Power Rangers. That includes Marvel Legends, Transformers, and GI Joe. But man is that packaging inconsistent. It's like the Joe Team took it seriously because that packaging is on point. Less promotion on Hasbro live Streams. Now this is where I'm concerned. It's so odd at how Hasbro can't promote Power Rangers at a basic level. Last year we have power rangers getting a 30 minute time slot, can barely fill 10 minutes. Yet it's not like they don't have anything to announce. One of the streams for another brand ran really late........and PR still have a lot of time to spare. Again they clearly have things to talk about. It's so odd that the brand seems so secretive for no reason. ML and Gi Joe will show off renders like no tomorrow. Yet PR seems like it's classified by the govt. The last thing is they are all over the place with announcements. The last stream was really good but I still find it odd they didn't discuss things like the Alien Rangers five pack that was literally sitting right there. Hasbro had another website announce that set but they have yet to show it off. It's like Hasbro is a brand new company with limited experience in the industry with this brand. As to are they looking to drop it. Who knows. I think Covid probably screwed up a lot of plans and they've been trying to strategize.

@DesignIncase Painless joints are the issue with Time force blue no? I know alot of people had issues with the 60th anniversary spidey figures due to the Pinnless joints. plastic free packaging across the board is destroying collecting. The lack of promotion reeks late-stage Disney Era. 2019-2020 they promoted the crap out of power rangers but around 2021 they started to feel buyers remorse. It'll mostly depend on how the movie/reboot goes if it flops then power rangers is dead.
