I literally laughed to the point of falling out of my chair when Billy said “that’s my wife’s son” as a heroic line. Soldier Boy as portrayed by Jensen Ackles is hands down the most relatable and while morally grey still pretty much heroic characters in the show. His quest for revenge is similar to a punisher like motivation. Black Noire, A-Train and Mother’s Milk felt like totally different characters from their previous seasons.

My biggest beef is how SB and Black Noir were filler af. I'm sure that they will come back in future but it won't be it. All the buildup got wasted. Even if SB vs Black Noir happens in future it won't metter. To me at least. Why build up two charismatic characters and conflict between them if you are gonna waste them... THE BOYS I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU

So shit, Homelander surviving, Black Noire being killed off, Butcher completely changing character, that kid killed his wife remember, he hates all supes and I'm pretty sure he wanted the kid dead at one point. Soldier Boy being thrown under the bus and just every single thing about the finale was stupid. It felt like the big heads at Amazon realised how big the show had become so they decided to rewrite everything to benefit profit rather than a pay off and a decent episode.

This season sucked at making Soldier Boy seem more dangerous than Homelander. During the finale me and I think big chunk of the fanbase were rooting for SB because killing Homelander was the goal of the whole show and now the main character himself decided to just not do what he planned for years. Sure SB is a terrible person but he isn't an unstable manchild like Homelander. And like even after Black Noir's backstory I sure did feel hatred for SB but bro hell nah. SB was a great ally. SB was the best option for the boys. He was smart, capable of things and not crazy. So it made me really pissed off how everyone turned on SB in finale. Like are yall serious? The guy that was actually keeping his word and working with you and is the best solution to yalls Homie problem? SB's blast wouldn't even kill Ryuan bruh. He would just lose his powers. And no-one from The Boys gang even questioned it? Yall fr? Goofy goober finale lmao

It's obvious that show is becoming ass when writers can't even show that Soldier Boy is racist. "Show don't tell". They had no problem showing why Stormfront and Blue hawk were racist. But with SB they didn't even try. "Ooh but he beat up Black Noir and killed MM's family" he also beat up and killed white people. This whole character trait did the opposite of what writers wanted and made MM seem dumb. Like why does he even think that SB is racist? Because he killed his fam? Some dumb logic. Like it is so easy just make SB do sth like call a black person N word or a monkey or idk SOMETHING but instead we should just belive what writer says

The finale was a huge letdown. Superheroes are fighting like normal people with cupboards falling over and rod to the ear? And QM alone is able to take on HM? Why didn't she team up earlier with the Boys to take him out? And how did she survive the fall? She should have lost her powers mid air and fell to her death. Her death would have atleast been a point of note in otherwise unremarkable season.

It's just so much fun to see cameos from actors who were in Kripke's other shows: One from Revolution, about four from Timeless, and I lost count at how many from Supernatural... including having Negan himself Jeffery Dean Morgan coming up in the next season! OYE!

I was also disappointed by the finale and didn’t like it but some of your complaints are really weird. In our real life world, superhero costumes became more realistic and feasible as time went on. In a world with superheroes, it would make sense for them to originally dress up tactical and more gritty, with their outfits becoming more bombastic, as they learn to market the superheroes more

You come off deeply confused at several points. To pick one, Frenchie and Kimiko did not just "get into a secure facility and teleport into V hq." They explicitly tell us that the lab they were breaking into was at Vaught so no need for teleportation. Also, Vaught is shown evacuating all of its staff and it is implied that Kimiko and Frenchie slip in amidst the confusion because the show cuts right to them immediately after that scene.

Uber cringe when Maeve credits the alphabets for saving her.......at least we got to see Seth Rogan play himself in the season. I'm done with this garbage.

There was way too much filler this season *cough* frenchie kimiko *cough* Episode 8 should have been like episode 6 and then worked from there to actually conclude something. This finale hardly concluded anything. Maeve should be dead and soldier boy can still come back too. Didnt care about Noir but doubt even he is gone, wasnt he some kind of anti homelander super weapon in the comic?

Good gravy, the ending was one big clusterfuck.

Mothers milk randomly turning racist seems to not bother anyone, for me it was a big deal since the racism in this show is always displayed as being wrong (blue hawk clearly a bad guy) But whenever it's racism towards white people the attitude seems to be "this is ok"

The fact maeve made a sacrificial play just to walk it off seemed so cheap. Season 3 had way too much plot armour. Especially kimiko who came close to death more times than I can remember even though it’s obvious she would pull through every time.

The show has basically been a downer with each passing season. Season 1 was great and very original and kinda subtle in its satire. It did go out of its way to punch at religion but the main characters atleast felt natural. Now it is so political and is very clearly directed at one side that it takes you out of the show. Characters are becoming more toxic with MM who was once the most level headed of the crew now suddenly being a "political activist". Homelander is now just a parody of a right wing politician at this point and not the complex villain he once was

Starlight had a big boost in followers when she IN PUBLIC, saved that girl from those 2 guys in the alley way. It was recorded by a bystander and the girl came forward publicly to thank Starlight. This, as confirmed by Ashley and Madilyn, had a huge increase in her likability, recognition and demographics. I think this happened in the first or second episode of the first season. She also led her own version of the "Me Too" movement in the show, confronting The Deep. Also first season. Point is, she has done enough in the first season to warrant having a huge base of followers/subscribers. but ya the finale of the 3rd season was surprisingly awful considering how good the rest of the show has been. I also hate how they just decided to make Ryan a psycho racist for no reason, out of nowhere.

What went wrong? They let a feminist direct the finale......
