Hey guys, I know you’ve already busted it up for parts but my uncle was the original owner. He built the truck in our shop. Glad to see the truck made one last voyage before yall tore it apart. It’s been as far as Moab Utah 4 wheeling in its life. Was a good ride. I enjoyed this video for sure.

Its amazing that the previous owners dealt with the fuel issue, what a pain in the butt.

This looks exactly like the trucks I grew up around in the 90's (near the Sierras), thanks for the throwback 🙂 Though yeah, I'm reminded why we went to EFI lol, I hope it's parts make something great!

In the interest of saving the Budget 😮 Did you even try to ask what his bottom dollar was? I went to look at a CJ-7 for $500. and while talking with the guy he figured I'd be a good caretaker of it...He reduced the amount so I couldn't help but buy another project.😮 My problem has always been parking spots 😊

Are you & Josh going to build that YJ? That’s the one I’m looking forward to if so. I have a 94. I plan on doing a 5.3, Th350, 4 link. Unfortunately my plans are bigger than my skill level and money lol. Never messed with a 4 link or so anything suspension wise other lift kits.

I don't know what $6.5k will buy though I do know what $5k didn't buy. Seven months and $5k and I still don't have my vehicle back from the shop. Quoted me $3k then went up $5k after work started and nothing to show for it. Thats 1/3rd my annual pay.

Heck yeah! That's a pretty good deal, sure. A couple months ago, I scored a 350 Vortec swapped YJ (D44, GM 14BFF, NP435, NP205, 6" Motobilt stretch, Motobilt Fuel Cell, Hoops and Fox Airs, Metalcloak Fenders, Motobilt winch bumper, custom seats, bikini top, full doors, etc etc etc) for $5,200!!! 😮 I slapped four 37" Kenda MTs on it for $800 and it's just about ready. Someone help me understand offroading and the tire thing Are the tires on the toyota still in "good" shape they look balled and warned out from on road use and they look like they should be more aggressive tred if they were newer or am i just uneducated in tires that much

We used to call them Marlin Stallers. It really is a great thing but it doesn't like carburetor's or the other way around. Got to meet and share a camp fire with Marlin many years back and he was a great guy. R.I.P. Marlin.

IMHO I know because of wet conditions usually it comes down to just sending it but I think a video showing the difference between crawlin it, rollin thru it, a small bump, a bump and sendin it each is exactly. A little knowledge would prevent a lot of carnage. You can thank me later for a lot of views 😂. Nice build/builds by the way.

That 5 speed probably needs a new bushing on the shifter. You wont be able to shift it after a while if you dont replace it

Man $6500 is a great deal on that rig. Like a lot of folks, I hate to see it torn apart, but I’d rather see what you guys build. Really wish you had more time with it to really make a fun and eye catching buggy or trail trash. 😂

22 casings are what you put in the fusebox when you can't find the problem that's popping fuses then you watch for smoking wires and fix the problem and toss a fuse back in

If you flood a carb. Hold the pedal to the floor and crank the engine. I used to pump it 8 times to know it flooded and then hold the pedal. They would usually start in 5 seconds. No matter the brand.

Hey now my YJ is still a carbureted 350 and that's because I'm on a poor man's salary and can't afford the fuel injection kit. P. S. If anybody feels nice I could use a Holley EFI. 😂

The shifter bushings in those are pretty simple to replace, just annoying.

You can turn the shifter so it doesn’t hit the transfer case shifter BTW

I've had that machine on 80s same gears on carb you need a sump in the fuel cell so the pump has fuel at all levels
