What will change for President Jimmy Carter as he enters hospice care 

The first time I voted was in 1976. Proud to say I voted for our 39th President. And I have donated to Habitat and the Carter Center for a long time. Jimmy Carter is one in a million.

May not have done the best job as president, however he is a GREAT man and does actually care for the common person

My mother had hospice care. I had to get rid of them because they didn't understand her medical needs. But I pray for Jimmy Carter. He send my mother a beautiful Christmas card that made her day

The only president I have respected, a man of great dedication and love for the good of humanity he never stoped trying to do the right thing. Maybe not the best for Americans.But the best of us as a human being.

How politics has gone down hill since he was president. He was a decent human being. With the exception of a few people, that’s something we can’t say today about most of our politicians.

Pres Carter has been the most peaceful US president. He never threw his weight around. Because of this he failed to get re-elected. This was the US's loss but the world's 🌍 gain. My best wishes to Pres & Mrs Carter

Why is anyone comparing his political life to his spiritual life, on his journey home.

He will have the best because of who he is. Hospice will simply provide comfort, and morphine if necessary as he transitions home. He'll be leaving soon.

So sad that he is going on Hospice Care. I remember when he had written his Christmas Book back in the 1990s, he was holding a book signing here in St. Louis MO, I went to the bookstore up the street from where I lived and the book signing was, brought his book and he signed it. Such an amazing man. He will be in God's hands now and will be missed. God bless you,, Jimmy Carter.

President Carter impacted me as a 12 year old when I would watch the news daily about the AMERICAN 🇺🇸 HOSTAGE SITUATION during his term in office. I believe that’s when it became clear to me that other COUNTRIES did not ALWAYS support us whether we helped them or not. I admired him then and I certainly do now since he was the only one ☝🏽 who made a positive impression on me. 🙇🏻‍♀️🙏🏽🗝✝️

I would have loved to meet former President Carter. Unbeknownst to him. I saved AF1 from crashing on take-off back in 1979. He and his crew and other dignitaries were flying to Vienna, Austria. Even in 1979, President Carter had the blessings of God. I would explain more. But one day I hope to be able to tell both Carters the whole story. God bless you, Mr. President.

He’s an Honorable smart man . His time as Governor of Georgia and potus is well known. However He’s a Naval Academy Graduate. Has a degree from Georgia Institute Of Technology…A WWII Submariner. That last one makes him one tough fella…

As a former hospice nurse I can tell you he’ll be treated with great dignity,kindness & free of pain! Go into the arms of your hospice angels…you’ve certainly earned your rest!

My prayers are with you brother Jimmy and Miss Rosalynn. I don't care what anybody says about you you are a very good man and a fellow Georgian as well. I never will forget seeing you and your family on TV at the 1980 81 Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame. We were very proud of our own president at that time, who happens to be from Georgia, and all in attendance as we watched our favorite team bring home the National Championship title. I remember in one of your early speeches you made the comment "we (Southerners) don't have accents anymore, y'all do,''😂😂 I was a little too young to be voting for you at that time but I was saying go Jimmy go. Your legacy will live forever and we will never forget the good you did in and out of office, And of course what would Georgia be without your delicious peanuts. Boiled or roasted, spicy or plain, to me they're all delicious. You're a true example of what a southern gentleman should be and Miss Rosalynn is very lucky to have had you all these years my prayers for you and your entire family Mr. President.

I think his humanity and level of self-actualization had a far wider effect than could ever be confined in his presidency. He, along with Rosalynn, epitomize good merit.
