Heads up! The name of this game has changed to Sovereign: Fall of Wormwood due to trademark issues! But we use the name Wormwood throughout the video.

So many factions. Wonder how different they feel while playing. On paper they promise great variety.

As a completely biased source, I would say the variety is quite high. Each faction has 30 unique cards, and usually you won't get through even half of your deck in a game. We have played the game at least a thousand times and every game has something new. Some factions feel more different than others- for example, playing the Myrmidon Dominion will feel similar to playing the Red Hegemony, but completely different from playing the Utopian Remnant or the Machina Sapiens. There's a free Tabletop Simulator module and a Print and Play if you want to give it a try!

@@damonstea just joined it, thanks! Had a little dabble at the game with a friend and almost instantly had that feeling of.. "oh.. oh I like this!" Reminiscent of how I felt the first time I played Netrunner! 🙌🏼 Looking forward to the kickstarter opening up! 👀🎉

I would play the crap out of this on BGA. I absolutely hate TTS though. Nice to see so much faction variety.

I'm not sure if BGA will accept an unpublished game, but I'll look into it!

@@damonstea Even if just two factions were available, the rules enforcement would make it a lot easier to learn and there would be tons of useful data for balancing with future expansions. That said, I know BGA implementation is a lot more difficult than TTS :)
