What Would Leonid & Friends Tell Terry Kath? The Burning Question? 

Had the pleasure seeing Leonid & Friends in concert. Was really impressed and well worth the price of the ticket.

I am always flabbergasted when I look at "best guitarists" lists that avoid mentioning Terry Kath. How dare they!!! I have been watching Leonid and Friends videos for quite sometimes and am very impressed by their Chicago covers. The musicianship is excellent.

Leonid and Friends are keeping Chicagos music alive for those of us who were already fans and because they do it so well they are growing a whole new Chicago fan base. L & F are simply AMAZING!!!!

Great interview. My brother gave me the first 2 Chicago Transit Authority albums for Christmas gifts. I remember how cool that was. Awesome music!

Totally agree, Leonid and friends do incredible renditions, their covers have generated more excitement in me than any other music in recent memory. It takes real talent to pull off the quality of music that they do, I am really hoping to catch them in concert in the near future. Also hoping Serge can rejoin them soon, his vocals are amazing. Otherwise, Vintage Chicago and Terry Kath still amaze me to this day!

They’re even better people than musicians (and that’s saying a TON). Great people.

If you haven’t seen it, watch Searching for Terry, it’s an incredible and heartwarming documentary by his daughter, Michelle with contributions from many luminaries who respected him. He should have left Chicago after X and gotten away from the hangers on who were bad influences. Still sad to this day. A great “What if?”.

I think the term ' monstering' the guitar comes from watching Terry Kath. Leonid has a great ear, his transcriptions are perfect. And an incredible band he has created. Shame the stupid war lost the band such a great vocalist.

What songs does the female sing? I don't believe there was a female in the band...... doesn't seem like they could be 100% authentic like that...... or does she just do the Carpenters songs?
