Harriet Minter is a writer, journalist and speaker. Currently the editor of the Guardian’s Women in Leadership section, she writes extensively on a variety of issues relating to women and the workplace and has interviewed a range of leading women from MPs to entrepreneurs and celebrities. Prior to her current role she worked as a commissioning editor for a range of sections on the Guardian and also ran the engagement and social media strategy for the Guardian’s Professional Networks. She started her journalistic career at RollOnFriday.com, the leading community site for lawyers and as a consequence knows far too much about the private lives of the City’s highest paid litigators. She is a regular speaker on women’s rights, organisational change, the future of work and just getting stuff done. Outside of work her passions include high heels and big boats - although not together.

A humourous and inciteful talk Harriet. Great parallels between bravery in yoga and in business reminding us that it's action first, confidence second and not the other way round. p.s. well done on the hand stand!

love this, I have been doing aerial circus classes for 2.5 years and everyone I speak to instantly says "I couldn't do that, I have no upper body strength/not flexible/not strong enough" or whatever reason, neither was I when I started, yesterday I fell on my arse at least 3 times trying something on silks but when you finally get that move it feels amazing!

Pre-exercise screening is used to identify people with medical conditions that may put them at a higher risk of experiencing a health problem during physical activity. This will help the person to do proper workout. Along with this a person can try Planet ayurveda’s Ashwangandha and green essentials for maintaining proper health and well-being.

Minter is a reporter who is so biased she cannot apply a fair and equitable judgement to anything that involves the sexes. She needs to take a long hard look in the mirror at herself and the way she behaves.

I don't think you have got the complete hang of what yoga can do to your mind. To limit yoga to physical or even mental realm is idiocy. Yoga aims at Nirvana or highest spiritual state that anyone can reach. Patanjali describes Physical & Mental benefit accrued as side effects that one shouldn't allude to. But keep in mind the final goal & keep working towards it.

Sorry we need more practical goals along the way in the West. Her talking about enlightenment would've put the crowd to sleep.
