In This Video I Show You A Comparison Between The Greatest Space Telescope Ever, My Universities $32,000 Telescope and my very own Telescope! 🌠🌟💫
I've owned personally a great number of amateur telescopes which have allowed me to image a surprisingly large amount of the cosmos.😮
The key to capturing as much of our universe as possible is to have a big telescope mirror and a lot of time.🔭
Either one of these will allow you to produce images of the same wonders that the Hubble Space Telescope has been imaging for the past 30 years! 🌌
However, you don't necessarily need a telescope to get into astrophotography, in fact, some of my favourite images were the ones I took using just my $200 Canon 1000D DSLR. 📷

Man how I wish videos like these existed when I grew up. When I was a kid I always wanted to be an astronomer but the lack of easily available visual content about it made me slowly forget my dream and kill that passion in me cause other things in life distracted me. Now I'm grown up with a completely different path in life as a game designer with astronomy as a passion that I never explored other than watching content about it every single day since content on it became available on platforms like RU-vid. Keep remembering your dream and pursue it! I'm rooting for you to become an astronomer.

I'm 58 years old. I still have my 3 inch refractor which I have had since I was 12. Clearly, I have had a lot of life over those years but I will never forget first seeing the seven sisters, Orions' nebula, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn with their visible moons and of course Andromeda. I could go on but just to say it's wonderful that Damon is as inspired as I was as a youngster and is pursuing his dreams, with all the knew tools available. With his engaging presentation skills, I wonder if we have the next Brian Cox here? I live in an area with a lot of light pollution. But I think I will unpack my telescope and see what I can in 2021. And maybe.....give myself a long overdue telescope upgrade!! Keep up the good work Damon and we wish you well.

I just want to mention that you can buy a pre-owned version of the Canon 1000d camera I used in this video for as little as $100. 📷 But please be aware that there are plenty of cameras that have much better imaging capabilities than the Canon 1000d, it just so happened to be the only camera I had at the time so I spent a lot of time imaging with it, there really isn't anything special about it! 😅 If you want to see what a real special camera looks like, then check out the SONY A7S ii, this is the camera I have used to film 95% of Astronomical, it has amazing low light capabilities. 😁👍

I'm an amateur astriphotographer from Lima, Perú. 8 years ago, I bought my first telescope. It was a Celestron Nexstar 6. I can't wait to see the first images from the James Webb, everyone's mind will be blown away. Not just from the size of it, but from how much the technology has changed with cameras, etc.

It feels so good to learn and have things broken down so well. I have bad ADD and this was so engaging for me and I learned so much about the process of the photography of stars and systems. I always wondered. I definitely would love to go back to school and study this

I have a Celestron Nexstar 8se. What a blast! This is my first scope and I would have preferred to keep it forever. By dumb luck I got it right before hurricane Sandy. That storm left my area without power for 6 weeks. No power means no street lights or any light pollution. The sky was spectacular. Unfortunately it had since fell and broke into quite a few pieces. The experience was so incredible I cannot wait to get another one To anyone that's on the fence on thinking if they should buy one... BUY ONE ! So incredible!!!
