Hello welcome to the first instalment of the Helix Knowledge Series.
This video goes over the basics of the 6 switch looper and 1 switch looper found within the helix.
Also this video discusses the capability to maintain loops while changing presets by reassuring that from one preset to the next both loopers on either are both Stereo or both Mono.

I think it's worth mentioning, if it hasn't been brought up, is your footwear could be a factor in getting things in sync for recording and playback of the looper. I've found that softer soles on my shoe or soles that have tread on them (like a sneaker) can effect your timing when you trigger the looper (a wide sole can also be an issue). A harder, flatter, narrower sole is much more dependable.

Thanks Benjamin, I'm working on some acoustic duo stuff and seeing this def helped, I learned a couple new things, which is great. As a Helix devotee, I look fwd to anything you'd like to share about it down the road, any new perspective on it is always welcome in my world (just subscribed). BTW, I know you were just playing for demo purposes here, but it's pretty obvious to me you can play well, so nicely done there, good sir. Wishing you success in any goals your striving for. Cheers.

Did you know you can assign the playback start and pause to its own footswitch so after recording you can toggle it off and on without having to go into the looper and do your cool once trick. (If you have enough footswitches available.)
