maybe the queen and king are still alive, but lost or ended up in the enchanted lands

My theory on how Elsa got her powers is because the mother saved the father whose people were enemies with each other (because Elsa and Annas grandfather attacked the enchanted forests leader first) so the enchanted forest gifted the mother with giving their (Elsa and Annas parents) first child a gift. But that’s my theory 🙂🧸 What’s yours?

I feel like the parents are still dead. Iduna could have been born into a magical family but maybe she didn't have power and there for didn't feel like she belonged (how Elsa felt with her powers) and left the Enchanted forest for a new beginning. The northern lights might be not her power but for example Idunas sibling who is showing like this that they are still thinking of her and wish for the return which could be the reason for the lullaby. She might have created it so she would not forget the direction herself and her kids just loved the song. It is basically the story slightly repeating itself within the core and maybe Anna and Elsa will be a key to united those two worlds :)

Queen Iduna is dead now. The only way she could appear in Frozen 2 is if Anna and Elsa have flashbacks of Iduna and the King.

Have you ever noticed that Iduna doesn't speak a lot? Only Agnarr does. I mean he answers to everyone, even to his daughters' questions. Mayby their mother doesn't want to talk a lot, but why? The only scene I remember she speaks, is in Frozen 2 in the 1st scene. But, why?? This might be something we don't know about that yet.

This is just a frozen 2 theory and it's huge so if you have time then grab a snack and read it I feel like the purple fire is somewhat sort of connected to queen iduna cause purple is somewhat her colour and maybe she has powers of producing the fire but when she got married she hid them or washed them and her kids anna and elsa got the powers and just maybe she washed them away in a the river of memory that is why she suggests elsa to find answers there and anna to find her true powers there and she planed this all before because her husband didn't approve of powers and thought they were dangerous when truely they were the things that could save Arendele from the unknown threat so she hid the clues in the lullaby which she sang to her daughters oftenly so that they remember the song and find hints in it when they need it. And just maybe the threat to Arendele was foretold to iduna and agonar with some prophecy but not clearly and agonar thought Elsa's powers were the threat and was very scared of it and told this to iduna and iduna never told him about her powers cause she knew that her powers weren't a threat but she thought agonar might not believe her that is why she left a hint in the song so that elsa and anna could discover it when time comes. And the pink flames are coming up cause idunas memories from the river of memories are warning Elsa and Anna that the threat is about to occur and they are the only one who can save the world Guys this is just my theory and if u don't approve of it I totally understand and I am really really excited about frozen 2 can't wait to watch it

And the point that she saw teen Elsa in Frozen feared her power and then she could understand that more than Agnarr could because she was Northuldra and Northuldra people understood well about magic because they followed magic but in Frozen the director didn't mention yet about Iduna was Northuldra so we didn't know yet at that time until now we just knew after watching Frozen 2

What if the king is the one who has the powers and the reason he wanted Elsa to not use them and conceal them is cause it happened too him when he was young and he hurt people with them or something went wrong, and he doesn’t want it to happen to Elsa.

Lol I get confused when Elsa's ice went to purple in some short scenes, I was like, "isn't her powers supposed to be blue or white?? Why's there purple?" And then I thought about her mother.... Frozen 2 won't tell us where Elsa's powers come from. Elsa's powers came from Ingrid and were activated during an eclipse.

There’s was this whole theory about Jack Frost and his little sister. When Jack Frost froze to death in the ice his little sister cried for him. The Gods felt pity and granted the sister her first born being born with the powers of ice (much like Jacks powers when he becomes Jack Frost). Unfortunately when she fell pregnant she became ill (she’s the mother of Rapunzel) she needed the flower to save her which gave Repunzel her certain power from the flower. She couldn’t bare another child because her body is weak, let alone a child with powers. The Gods then gave the powers to the next sister/ cousin/ friend (it’s either Jacks parents had another kid which wasn’t confirmed or it was Jacks little sisters friend/ cousin who got the gift for her child). The friend/ sister/ cousin of Jacks little sister was Anna’s and Elsa’s mother. That’s why her first born had ice powers. (This is all just a theory, nothing was really confirmed.)
