Oh, the food unit sounds wonderful! I really like how simple this sounds…not all the “Instagram worthy” set-ups that just aren’t realistic for some of us.
I use Gentle & Classical on a regular basis, but your Purely Preschool has been sooooo valuable as an addition and on those weeks when we are on G+C pause or those weeks when a slow down is needed. So straight to the point, simple but meaty enough. So affordable as well! Thank you so much for this resource Rachel!
I just love this!! Preschool was just the most fun time to learn and enjoy the time together. I loved this flip through, and if we are blessed with more children, I will definitely return to this. I love how simple it it, and I think the Love Homework is super special. Building a positive relationship and school relationship with your child is imperative during preschool, and I think you hit all the spots to encourage this! Great job!
These are perfect for my 'ready to do school' 3.5 yr old! Then we can start Alphabet Part1 this fall/winter. I went ahead and ordered food for our first PP unit :)
My kids just finished spring and now we’re doing the insects and we are having a grand time ! They love memorize the cards .. we use it as a unit study and add many more activities and videos to it so it’s lots of fun
A winter unit would be so great! I love that you included books we could find on RU-vid as I don't have the best library here... we love the season units... since we do have all seasons they were so fun to complete with my son... can't wait to do it with my little girl ❤️

Why not both?! It’s cute and meaningful! I love the themes. I have an abundance of curriculum but I might just have to snag these too. I’m not a Spanish speaker but I want to learn and to teach my daughter. If I were to purchase both English and Spanish options, would be pretty easy to combine them?? I need the English directions, but I’d love the English and Spanish content.
The English and Spanish options are largely identical, just with the instructions for an activity translated into Spanish. The aspects that are different are: the books, the songs...and some of the phonics/alphabet activities are different because the same letter activities don't always make sense with the theme in both languages. I have had a few families buy both versions because they want to include Spanish in their preschool routine. BUT--that has been for parents who spoke SOME Spanish but weren't fluent. If you don't speak or read some Spanish...I think it might be pretty hard to make that work for you. I definitely recommend letting them listen to Spanish picture books and songs--even those for preschoolers have so much rich vocabulary and grammar in them.
I purchased the Night and Food units for my little one, but she is almost 4. I’m hoping they’ll still work well for her. I was so excited about them that I didn’t even consider the fact that she may need more of a pre-k curriculum by the time we start! I’ll take a look at Alphabet Adventures. Do you think it would be easy enough to combine the 2?😃
I think you can definitely still give it a try if your little one is closer to 4--I give an age recommendation, but in reality, kids vary so much at any one age. My oldest son was very ready for Alphabet Adventures by the time he turned 4, but with my younger son...I may wait a little longer because he's a little less interested in "school" like his brother was at his age. A slightly older preschooler using Purely Preschool might show more mastery in the alphabet activities and learning statements vs. with a younger preschooler, I would be expecting more of just exposure and play, not so much mastery. You might try combining--Purely Preschool has the fun preschool themes, and then Alphabet Adventures is focused on the alphabet, more for kids who are ready to really master all those beginning phonics sounds and recognize all their letters.
