I’m about to give birth to my fourth and the more kids I have the less I allow them to check me. This time around I’m not taking any vag exams, it’s ridiculous that they make women push their babies out when they don’t feel that very recognizable UNCONTROLLABLE urge to push. You can’t miss it you can’t stop it when baby is coming baby is coming your body, without your help, literally pushes the baby out 😂 all mine came out in two-three pushes! Not bc I’m lucky but bc that’s just what happens when you allow your body to go through the natural process of labor (no drugs)
Amen amen amen. Say it louder for the people in the back. You learn so much more after the first kid but I wish I knew all I know now with my first. It would’ve saved me so much trauma. Congratulations on baby #4!!
My first birth experience was really really horrible with a very unfriendly and unprofessional nurse on duty, every virginal exam was even more painful than the contractions itself, I wish I had the knowledge that I could do with out it, thank you for this educative video!
That's what just happened to me during my laboring and birthing experience, for that matter. The cervical checks were so rough! During one of my checks, the nurse actually broke my water. I labored for over 24 hours and pushed for over an hour. Ended up running a fever during delivery due to an infection that was attributed to my waters being ruptured for a long period of time.
This was very helpful! Will be 38 weeks pregnant tomorrow and still haven’t talked to my gyno about my birth plan but plan to this week. Thank you for all the great information ❤
I was in a car accident at 31 weeks ( currently 33 weeks) I was contracting terribly and was in the labor and delivery ward. Long story short I had two cervical exams over 24 hrs and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be ! Reminds me of a Pap smear but bigger lol
@@awerkingmama Yes indeed! There’s this speculum thing ( don’t know how to spell it) that they’ll use to check it also and it’s hurts sooooo bad! Thank you for your informative videos and kind words 💕
36 weeks and just had an exam yesterday at visit... so forecast several months had a lot of pain in vagina and surround area. been complaining and totally ignored. so yesterday she does the exam and it was SO PAINFUL I was in tears... so mow doc trying to talk me into c section as she thinks k won't be able to handle pain and that it's abnormal to have pain there... wth?! no suggestion on what causing pain just jumped to c section!
Hi! I was trying to a schedule a visit but I don’t know if you’re fully booked or something else. I am looking for the 2nd week of April or an afternoon time. I love your videos thanks a lot! I don’t have any social media so I guess reply to this comment maybe?
I’d love for us to chat! My calendar will show the times I have available for the next two weeks. There should be some afternoon times available there. For April, you can look again next week and the availability should update!
I’m due in June and trying for VBAC in June. Does Laboring down guarantee the fetal ejection reflex will occur? Or laboring down just makes it easier to push baby out?
I have a question. Maybe it may sound ridiculous, but is it true that even though you had a c-section, doctors won't check your cervix because you had a c-section?
@@awerkingmama I am and was pregnant with more than 4 babies, so to my knowledge I miscarried and still pregnant, I know some disadvantages, I have been to the ER and still not the proper help. Like what can you tell me abt the disadvantages and advantages if you know any
