Yeah sometimes this works. It all depends on the size of the car of course. There's a good comment on here about putting in the passenger seat footwell.
@st8kout961
@st8kout961 2 года назад
It just takes a little bit of thought to carry it in the backseat. Try laying it across the backseat, then grab some cushions, boxes, or blankets and stuff under one end, angling it up until you can close the door. Or roll down the window and have someone reach through it to hold that end up while you close the door. On some cars like BMWs the back bottom seat pops right out without tools, so remove the seat before you go to the store. Of course, you can also buy roof racks to carry it on top, (also handy for carrying home plywood/lumber from the big box stores.) Just make SURE you use enough tie downs on the front (for hard stops), back and sides. Don't be that guy on the news, out in the middle of the road looking at his cargo smashed to pieces from flying off the roof. Use extra rope to tie down the roof racks themselves to the car body, even if you have to run the rope through the interior and out over the roof. One last method is if you still can't close the door, use rope to hold the door as closed as much as possible, depending on how far it sticks out and how far you have to drive home, (at night would probably be better.)

1 pound sterling = $1.26. Also, quid is slang for pound. The title "What you NEED TO KNOW before buying Yamaha P515 | What piano should I buy?" sounds like a warning not to buy a Yamaha P515. @@kododavid7202 The particular sub I was using required a headphone level audio signal - so I used one of the two headphone outputs on the front left of the P515 (used a right angle phono jack and taped the wire under the piano to keep it tidy). Hi Chris - I am considering upgrading from my current Yamaha P255 to this P515 model. I've been into my local store and had a test drive of it once and probably will pop in a couple more times before I make up my mind. 95% of the P515 I think is better than the P255 and I love it - the action and the piano sampling especially are divine. Couple of things I noticed though a) There is no dedicated transpose button on the P515 like there is on the P255. Looks like it's in the menu system, is it more cumbersome without the dedicated button do you think? b) The P515 doesn't have the 3-band equalizer sliders like the P255 - once again I guess this is in the menu system but it was nice for live gigs to have that equalization at your fingers tips. Have you found these to be an issue?

Its annoying because everything about this digital piano is absolutely phenomenal. The sound is good, the feel of the keys is great, the wooden keys add to the authenticity etc etc. BuT it's quite an ugly looking device, yamaha definitely leading the way with the p series, but visually they have poor taste in my opinion. Add more gloss, make it sleeker, maybe some matte black and gloss contrasts. Maybe give it a sharper look for example. I know most people dont care, and are probably thinking it's not about the looks, but these things go into our home along side our smart TVs, and other modern appliances. This thing looks like it belongs in the late 90s, or early 2000s, really bugs me.

Do you know if there is a way to save a pre-set "piano room" piano that you've created? It just seems odd to me that you can go into piano room and tweak all the settings to find the perfect piano sound, yet as soon as you turn off the piano it forgets everything. There's gotta be a way!
@gr3ywolf144

There is: Press Function, then press Left, go down to System and press Right, then go down to Backup and press Right, then press Right again on Backup Setting - Now turn both Voice and Other to On. Now when you turn off the piano and back on you should find that all your settings and adjustments have been saved. I found this out myself after having the same problem of settings being wiped after a reboot so went digging in the settings, as i thought the same as you 'there's gotta be a way'. Its a bit puzzling why Yamaha would default this to off... Anyway, hope this helps.

@@ferdearmas8732 I have play them all and the best key action of those options is the Roland FP-90. Kwai and Yamahas piano sounds are better. Still I bought the FP-90 better key action, pretty nice key touch/feel, triple sensor great for Midi, lots of very very cool usable sounds and all the shaping options for the piano sound that makes it sound pretty decent. But if you're looking for the best digital piano, go for Kawai's MP11SE digital piano. In my opinion best key action (closest to grand piano) and beautiful piano sounds. But no speakers, pretty heavy (around 80 lbs), very few sounds (no organs, pads, etc).

@@manoloespitia1898 Thanks for reply my friend. And what do you think about cheaper key actions like: Roland FP10/30, Yamaha P125, Korg D1, Casio PX-S1000 and Kawai ES110?. Which is better (faster, more nimble, confortable and reliable) for you?.

@@ferdearmas8732Hello again, in my opinion, in that range, I would go for the Kawai ES110 because it has nice sound, good action, great responce (best in this price range); everything to make it perfect for music with lots of dynamics. The Roland FP 10, 30 and 60 have the same action wich is great; the heaviest key action in this range, closes to grand piano (again, in this price range and a little better than Kawai's ES110) that make it great for building tecnique to play on acoustic pianos. But the overall sounds in it maybe not be as good as Kawai´s, same with speakers altho using the FP series with headphones the games changes because of its "Headphones 3D Ambience". Yamaha P-125 has an good key action (much lighter than Roland's and very similar to Kawai's) and the sounds are pretty good specially the EPianos and organs. (I bought 2 for piano lessons and never have had a problem with them). Casios PX series, sadly, has a huge flaw in it's action. They look great, sound decent, they are amazingly slim and light weigted but the key action is horrible so I strongly advise you to NOT even consider them. I have not play that Korg model so I could not give you my opinion. It all comes to what you want it for. Studying tool to perform in acoustic/grand pianos? Stuying using only headphones? Giggin and practice equipment? Are you looking olny for the piano sounds or the electric pianos, organs, strings and pads too? Conectivity? The use of Apps? If you do not have some thing specific in mind I would go for either Kawai Es110 or Yamaha P-125 wich are the more rounded options. And If you like to share what are you going to use it for; I can give you my opinion on will be the best option for you.

I tried both these last week. A keyboard action is so personal..regards the P515 and FP90 there isn’t a best. I found the P515 to be heavier but it has a fast spring back....so very quick playing is easy. Where as the FP90 action feels initially lighter but has a kind of clicking sensation at the bottom as though a hammer is being released. I’d be satisfied with either but if I had to choose I’d pick P515....I preferred the heavier keys but unlike some heavy keys it wasn’t sluggish....the action felt smooth and easier to play. Both have wooden effect keys which make the keys feel stiffer and higher quality.

Personal taste; P515 > Kawai ES8 > Roland FP90 in terms of key-action and how they feel.

I have a P-515 and I can't believe you video. Realy you reject a P-515 because is too big for your back seat of your car?, probably yes if you are a transporte but if yoi are musician of course NO!. Right, I agree that for you a P45 is more than enought or may be a Casio, but discard a P-515 is a cracy. Have you ever heard about binaural sound ? , the CFX, the bossendorfer, the interaction sound , No, of course. This explain that. The P515 is not for you but please, don't supose that all the people is like you. One thing, hear a P-515 ( if you can) and later tell me that is a bad, annoying and sturdy piano. You are qualifiying yourself.

Thanks Miguel. I think you've misunderstood the purpose of this video. I certainly do not 'reject' the Yamaha P515. In fact, I think it's the best stage piano that Yamaha have ever made. I made this video to help people by answering common questions that we have about it before people buy one from us. Judging by the comments on here, and the number of emails/phone calls I get about it, folks have found it quite useful. If you're looking for my full review of the P515 review then watch this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ut7b5cI6maI.html
