You are very right. I bought the Roland E-x30 today. I was impressed about the information on paper, but in reality, I don't feel any Roland sounds in the E-x30. Am definitely considering to exchange for a different keyboard. 😏😏
Great video. And if we compare this one with the Yamaha psr e373 I think the Yamaha is better. I do see that Roland does very well on the top of the line models. I enjoyed the video.👍😎
I believe if it didnt have Roland as a brand name on it, you would be satisfied l. Yet, the brand equity raised your expectations. This keyboard is the level of Casio ctx800 and Yamaha psr e373 and nto casio ctx 3000 and yamaha psr e473
i think the E-09 is still the best entry level arranger disguised synthesizer from Roland. Man I miss that keyboard, guess I shouldn't have sold it. Anyway, what are your thoughts between the Juno XPS-30 vs the Juno DS-61 or perhaps Yamaha MX61? I used to have a Roland Juno Di and sold it as well when I decided to quit playing the piano way back. Now I'm thinking of going back to playing the piano.
So you basically destroyed this keyboard (lol). You mentioned the Korg Ek-50 as an option, but here in Brazil, the Korg costs about 35% more than the E-X30. All Korg stuff are very overpriced here. The Go Keys, however, are around the same price as the E-X30. Could it be a better option, even with the subpar speakers? Or forget about Roland and stick with Casio CT X5000 (the cheapest of the whole bunch)?
Hi Jeremy . I value your review vey much. But with EX-30 you have got me quite confused.I am narrowing down to Korg EK50, Yamaha EW410 and Roland EX30. You have been giving very positive feedback regarding the EX-30 in so many of your earlier videos--- so what is the verdict? Kindly advise me your ranking on the above 3 keyboards too. Thanks a Lot!
It does not sound all that bad to me while I listen to it on my tablet. The only thing I can comment on, Jeremy, maybe, is that when you talk about how you can not see the bottom of the LCD, sometimes this can be adjusted, and this is called contrast. But maybe you already know this?
Using this one with Church choir practice, its not working with a sustain pedal, i have not found yet how to tweak to keep the layer volume controlled, and not be controlled by the sustain pedal 😭🙈
Hi bro. Please suggest me which one should i buy roland ex20 or ex30 or yamaha i500. I have seen so many videos most of them are saying yamaha i500 is best but i personally find roland ex30 sound better than yamaha
R o l a n d ... I am the Roland lover...waiting for new model to come in market with built in speaker , sequencer, Rso9, JunoD, Jupiter, Fantom, E09, BK3, BK5 ,here Xp and xps series are very Good but without speaker..and .EA7 are the good ones keyboard and rugged design....So go for ROLAND with these models...
I getting the message you do not like this keyboard. So. Another one bites the dust! Yeah, but I have a Casio W P1 synth and a Wk-7600 and nothing they have come up with are better 10 years later. Nice honesty, as always. You know that these beginner keyboards are well, beginner. Try designing a keyboard! This was very useful. I am buying a keyboard today. Casio Privia 3000 Stage piano.
Dear Jeremy, I'm new on your channel. Thank you for good advices. I want to ask you a question but I don't have much time. I hope you saw my question? I have these options. Casio Ctx-700/800, Roland Ex-20/medeli 361/Kurzweil Kp100 and Roland e263. E463 is very expensive in Turkey. Can't find E363. Which one is better? Please help me Asap 👃👃👃
I bought a Roland Juno DS61 for $420 USD. Not an arranger or auto accompaniment keyboard, but is MILES better than this keyboard, sounds are expressive and realistic. It has the same engine as the Fantom G series, so has many Fantom G / X sounds, as well as JV / XV series sounds. Definitely worth the money.
Hi Jeremy, I am new fan of your videos, please tell me which model is best to use among this PSR-E463, CASIO CT-X8000IN, ROLAND EX-20, and PSR-E363. I am a beginner.
@@JeremySee Thanks for your reply,😀🤗 have u ever used this Casio 8000IN model. Because I never saw any video in this model from your channel.🤔 You said YAMAHA is better than Casio interm of sound quality. I am confused b/w this E463 & X8000IN.
I just bought a Roland BK3 for around 329-339 dollar new, and its better than Roland E-X30, becuae they are real roland hardware and sounds, everything is made by roland.
wow thank you Jeremy. I am comparing PSR E463 and tempted to look at Roland E-X30 for their comparable price range. But i'm shocked coming to know that this is a re-skinned product from another manufacturer. For that, it make sense, that Roland did not have any of the Roland genuine sound source inside this machine. They will not. They shall not. Sound source reveals data protocol and data composition, which, if I'm on part of Roland, will not share beyond Roland. So, in summary, my take away from this info is that, Roland is using this price point to breakdown E463/EW410's market structure, which, Roland do not have any product to offer, hence nothing to be harmed of. Thank you.
He has a Yamaha bias that is obvious in every video he posts. He may claim to be independent and objective and owes no allegiance to Yamaha but I find his plaint disingenuous . Just because he claims no sponsorship doesn’t mean he is not supported in other ways. Easy to diss the product but show the audience what you are referring to by example.
I'm sure I'm biased towards and supported by Yamaha to make videos like these. 🤣 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7xi2ycrz5FI.html I'm just a guy on the internet giving his opinion. If it isn't aligned to what you NEED to hear, move along.
Yamaha also has products not really worth your money. Don't let brand loyalty fool you. I would not recommend PSR -F51 to anyone (the new Casio CT-S200 is much better) and SHS-500 has mixed reviews. PSR-E360 is also pretty redundant (get 363 or 463 instead).
