I’ve had my budgie for 3 years, he’s tamed and loves me it’s just that he’s spoiled and does what ever he wants around the house & cutely bosses me around 😂

I am glad my budgies see me as their parent. One follows me everywhere. My kids frighten them sometimes with noise but that's how kids are. I am always trying to be a better birb owner.

Ive had my two since they were 8 to 12 weeks old , one will get on your finger , the other doesn't want to know, i never pressure them to do much, they are fed and water with veg, but really enjoy there company when i get home from work, with there chirrups and screaming , for me to chat to them , and yes they wake me up on days off , as there cage is open from when i get up , and they put them self to bed around 8ish, bless them, they are both 3 years old males , dont think they hate me and i dont think they love me, and i never grab them either.

I have two budgies and my first one ( my blue one) was with me for about 9 1/2 months before I got the second budgie. What I noticed about the first one is that he and I formed a bond that still exist even though there’s a second budgie. The second budgie will follow the first one’s lead but won’t come to me unless the first one comes to me first. When I had to give the first budgie antibiotic for a yeast infection, then again for a bacterial infection, I thought I lost his trust because he doesn’t like being held, but luckily I could regain his trust.

Just adopted a 14 year old budgie. She was treated very poorly. Trying to tame her and just show her that some one loves her. She is not very talkative but she does sometimes chrip at me. She nibbles my fingers, not in a hard why but also not softly. I think she is trying to play but idk. Any advice would be greatly appreciated😊

One to look at is put yourself in their place. We're big and scary humans. Parakeets are natural prey in their original environment so they also have natural instincts to protect themselves. Budgies eyes are on both sides of their head. That's for a reason. Want to be friends with your budgie remember how they feel and it's on their time if they want to be close to you. Budgies are amazing pets. Be kind and loving to your birds and they will love you back.

My birds only go on my hand lol. Whenever the female bird sees me, she goes onto my hand right away even without millet. The male bird ALWAYS rests on my finger or my leg 😂😂😂 They are not scared of the other family members but they don't like going on them 😁

4:30 OMG YES- that’s the exact why my bird bites me a lot and didn’t trust me anymore. My bird almost got out of its cage and I was happy so that he could play in my house but than my brother closed the cage and his feet was stuck. This Is all my brothers fauly

My bird grinds it beak around me and sings to me when I am around so that’s a good sign. But she does not like to come out of the cage or be held bye anyone.

I'll soon get a budgie and see what what he will say but i did some research for it and today we asked how much the bird cage and the budgie it was pretty expensive where we asked so we will go to a cheaper pet shop to see how much the bird cage costs and the budgie but a cheaper price

hello! am planning to get some budgies and tame them with no prior experience. although i've tamed a pigeon before pretty much to the point that it considered me as its parent. although i wonder what age should i prefer(of budgie) and how long after getting it should i start the taming procedure.

my bird never hated me, i recently got a new bird and they like each other, but the other bird just always bites me when the new bird is in the cage, when i remove the new bird like get the new bird out of the cage where the other bird doesnt see it, it acts normal and doesnt bite me, im so confused!

hi does anyone know why a budgerigar hangs upside down?

we recently bought 4 budgies and they simply refuse to interact with us. We have done so much research and nothing really seems to be working (4-5 months now). We don't grab them, chase them or any of the things you mention in your other videos, the only thing I've been able to do is have them feed from a nearby perch, they refuse to be touched even though we don't force it etc etc. anyone had this issue?

I have five birds two parakeets two lovebirds one parrot so the reason I have five birds it's because so may something this year my bird died because.....My dad was cutting her wings but then she choked because she was a girl and she didn't liked to be hold so my dad was holding tight I think then she stopped breathing she passed away then we buried her but it wasn't my bird it was my brother's and the other parakeet was sad because they grew up together every since they were a baby they met rip dinosaur have a nice time in bird heaven I am sure that Allah will take care of you so after a month we bought two lovebirds but they were not friendly at all they bit my dad so we are selling them because they break the toys we buy for them and they kinda eat the wood but I am not sure after that we bought a parrot so the thing about the parrot it likes playing with kids but he doesn't let them touch him he likes men not women Al's he let's let's us hold him also kids but once he bit my bother by the ear and hand because he thought he was like doing something idk what I forgot then my bother was yelling then I woke up my dad was with him btw and once he bit me I wasn't bleeding but it was the same day my bother got biting so the parrot was on my dad and my dad's said lara let's see if he will go on you I put my hand there then he bit me but we are all okay Edit:btw ik birds don't like their wings cut I tried to stop my dad but he didn't listen but we learned our lesson now btw all the birds name is Parakeet: dead😢 dinosaur Parakeet:fair dinosaurs bestie not dead Parakeet:sunny not died Lovebird:melon not dead Lovebird: mango not dead Parrot:max not dead
