As a percussionist I have you know that percussion is a vital part of the band. If you didn’t have us you wouldn’t be able to keep it together. We are the tempo! Edit: thank you for the likes 👍
The other day one of my band directors got upset when the trombones came in too early, what happened was that the drum player wasn't there that day and we couldn't keep a steady tempo without her so everyone kept coming in a bit early or a bit late, we tried our best. I know some will say that we should know how to count rests and we do know how to count them but when you learn a whole song with the drums and then all of a sudden they aren't there it really messes you up
Being a euphonium/baritone comes with the pain of always having to explain to people what it is and you just end up saying, “It’s like a smaller tuba” I have a euphonium and my teacher made me try out a tuba mouthpiece and they are MUCH different so I hate when they are compared to each other😭💀🎅🏿
French horn is so underrated its a good but complicated instrument Mellos are so forgotten that it makes French horns seem popular French horns and mellos legit gets less love than the euphonium
My favorite instrument to listen to is euphonium/baritone. It has such a pretty sound. I wanted to play it when I got to sixth grade. The tuba will always be my favorite to play, even if I played a different instrument. I was originally sad that I was put as a tuba instead of a baritone/euphonium in sixth grade, but I love it now. I love playing the low notes so much.
I was picked as a clarinet for band at my school (they don’t let you pick, the band teacher goes off of what you can and cannot do to pick the instrument)
Okay as I trumpet player I will totally agree with this one, none of us are ever growing up 😂 We can be prideful most times but unlike most people I actually enjoy the baseline more than the melody, shout out to all the low brass players!
They said I'm too obsessed with my sax, they probably haven't even touched a sax before lol (Let me collect my sheet music in peace) Edit: nvm didn't have the attention span to watch the video, I admit it I'm too obsessed with my sax 😂
Bass clarinet looks like a clarinet and saxophone combined to me. Also the saxophones have such a beautiful sound I love them! 😍 (even tho I’m a bassoon player I still love my instrument just as much
as a flute player i like the recorder bc i can play the john cena theme song on it i also want an alto sax just to learn careless whisper and tequila bc it just doesn't hit the same on flute as it does on alto sax
