yuuka is a scary character. this results in fan works where young touhou characters are made to interact with her for comedy (because if it was like reimu itd be a fight) both have green hair akso fan works where young touhou characters are friends are common like koishi and flandre or rumia and cirno both are early touhou characters meaning more time for fan lore so you have fan works putting yuuka and wriggle into interaction where yuuka is (often) nice to wriggle who is scared of her (the comedy is yuuka being nice but wriggle being scared) add in people like to draw si.ilar looking touhous togethet in stand alone art you then you get a basis for assiciate the 2, then add in wriggle looking like a boy and people will ship it.

Medicine can't hold herself back due to being a very new youkai, while everyone else is holding back tremendously. The reason she does damage to the clothes is simply because she can't hold herself back enough to not do that.

@@internetlurker1850 cope, Medicine solos Yuuka and Youmu (canon in competitive PoFV) and most Touhou characters too, her body is made of Poison, she manipulates poison, thus she manipulates her own body. Medicine has Regeneration confirmed. Also Controlling (any) poison is a really Underrated ability, with the right formula she can decompose any living thing. "Well askstually she is not smart for use her powa" another misconsception, as Medicine always mention interest in her abilities, her scenario in PoFV is literally this, she goes off because she wants to see how far her power go. The sad thing is that after PoFV she got no relevant appearance at all, ZUN literally wasted all of her build-up for literally nothing, Medicine should've appeared in both SWR and HM, she fits SWR because of it's weather gimmick, something like "Acid Rain" would fit the theme of the game very well, for HM, Kokoro is in a similar situation as Medicine in that game, and she would probably enjoy some "Popularity" as well (before you say it i know she appears in the bg, but that's nothing relevant.) The worst part is that he (ZUN) keeps re-introducing characters that didn't got the same story line as Medicine, like flandre, she could've stayed in her basement forever and no one would care, and she's far from incomplete and is not that great of a character overall. While Medicine could easily appear in any of the Tasodare games, yet nothing for her. To get matters worse, she's not relevant even in the Printworks, where "all niche characters" get a place to shine. Can't have shit in Touhou. I was taking previously about Medicine possibly solo'ing many 2hus, and she deserving a comeback, screw that. Medicine deserves and *Needs* a Revenegance after all the BS she and us Medicine fans had to pass for 18 years. Call me a sweaty edgelord nerd or whatever, all i wan't is Medicine Melancholy as a actual character, she has everything to be a great character and i refuse to spread my legs and say "unfortunate" as much as i love Touhou, i also hate it for not treating one of It's best characters with any dignity.

@@MedsieLovr Ok but do you have a source for her being able to beat most Touhou characters besides being good in competitive and having an OP ability, which most characters have. Medicine's a good character and she should get more appearences, and I liked her interactions in PoFV and loved the small arc she had during it, and there were a lot of chances to add her in that were missed, and to be honest, I'd like playing as her in a fighting game, especially like HM, because the newer fighting games don't have a lot of variety and a crowd control type character would be cool, but saying she can beat most touhou characters just because she can manipulate poison is a bit of a stretch. Youkai don't even get hurt in a way that matters from physical damage, only spiritual damage. Even if their physical body dies they themselves will still live and regenerate, along with that they could just like... dodge? Though of course this is referring to a situation without the spellcard rules, where the aim would be to kill, but in a Gensokyo fight situation, your abilities just add flavor and gimmicks to your spells, things like poison, fire, ice, or border manipulation, just become flavour. Cirno won against the likes of Marisa, Okina, Reimu, Yuuka, and more, so in that case Medicine really could beat most Touhou characters. Many characters also have OP abilities that, in a real, non-danmaku fight, would be able to use against Medicine and win. Though really it can be hard to tell, since Touhou has little to no scaling, in theory, Letty for example, could be an absolute monstrosity in a fight, and "beat most touhou characters" if you only take her into account. You know, from talking to you just two times, it seems you have a bit of a hard time grasping gaps in power, you seem to really overestimate some people, when generally if you exclude the low tiers most characters are pretty close.

Statistical probability says 1 percent of ~180 is only 2 (with some rounding), so, on average, there’s only room for one same-gender couple in Touhou. What are the chances it’ll be these two versus the characters who _don’t_ have clashing agendas?

​@Fraston consider that this is a fictional setting so logic like that is kinda already out of the window, not only that but its one where the characters constantly flirt (some japanese fans even say some translations make things seem less flirty) and probably dont see same sex relationships as weird as people in the outside world do, considering how old gensokyo is, and the fact alot of them choose to look the way they do, so why wouldnt they find the other girls attractive...? also shipping characters that don't get along is amusing to some people, sometimes even charming. enemies to lovers is very popular for a reason. idk trying not to sound rude but calling people losers because they enjoy a (most of the time) harmless ship rubs me the wrong way. like...this is fiction, things like that shouldnt be applied imo. you should be able to ship two same sex people that dont get along same as opposite genders (also this is touhou where like. basically every character is a girl...come on lol, it can't be that weird)

I wish Medicine and Youmu was a thing, i'd Say Medicine fits Youmu even more than both Yuuka and Alice, i know they don't interact in Canon (except for the Vs script where both mention phantoms being weak to poison, maybe ZUN was aware of the bad matchup?) Even then, i think they quite similar but also contrast each other in some way. If ZUN was Based Medicine would be playable in SWR and that shit would be Canon 🔥
