Here’s a quick explanation of koroks: they’re little forest creatures and when link picks up a rock that one is hiding under, it scares the sh*t out of them and they poop. They then give Link their tiny turd and tell him he must collect 899 more of their little poo-poos and give them to hestu. After link gives hestu 900 of the koroks’ poop, known as “korok seeds” he will give link an even bigger poop that belongs to hestu himself, and hestu got so excited about getting all 900 korok seeds that he poops and gives it to link.
