Neither of you have a dwarf portrait, or anything related to dwarfdom. Be careful you don't finish in one of MY books. - _A guy whose portrait is literally an ever-burning resume written in blood._
@@fovarberma752 The Book of Grudges: Page 16,486,310. Volume 307. Grudge against fovarberma752. Guilty of assuming my species based on my RU-vid Avatar. Assumes I'm not a Dwarf because I happen to be a fan of Soulcalibur. Guilty of assuming we would judge his avatar over nothing. Sentence is to be extreme judgement over his avatar, his words, and he should have his legs crippled should they be longer than average Dwarf.
@@Nightbanekaizer If I recall the future well, the shame of not striking that name down from the great book will cause your eldest son to dye his hair orange and die drowning in a storm. And you'll pass away from the sorrow. You have sealed your fate. And I can say all that with no fear for your pride rules you. All of this is your fault. Which is ironic, since I am innocent of that crime, so _petty,_ while being guilty of *so much worse.* The only thing that outed you as a dwarf was your claim to the book. Which was so predictable, even a child would find it boring. As predictable as your over-reac... *sorry, I meant: "short fuse".* The fuse is metaphorical. Which in turn is symbolic, individual bloodlines dying off from misplaced pride, just like the specie as a whole. Which is good, you dwarves are stagnant. But at least you bathe. I mean, I think you do, feel free to correct me. And I must thank you for I did not assume anything else, merely taunted, jested and boasted. This is not the work of cold logic administering justice. Your unbridled emotions did all the work for me... *_Just as planned._*
I do both! I love watching 3 stacks of skaven slaves drown the enemy in bodies before the 4th army moves in to finish the job. Even if the enemy somehow wins I never move to attack without 3 real armies and 3 slave stacks. So prepare to face 2 fresh armies and whatever is left of the previous 4 armies.
I play Skaven specifically to ignore all the late game stuff. Artillery? Cavalry? Heavy ordinance? Good luck getting through my 12 full stack armies of Skavenslaves.
@@Zomboss-yh5cm Not really secret mechanics, but there are certain strategies you can use that are pretty cheesy. A big example is a Throt The Unclean strategy that gets you a tier 4 settlement by like turn 5. From there you can get a late game high tier army by turn 10 and pretty much sodomize every faction remotely close to you.
Giant lizard people in Aztec attire really does go so hard. Of all the cultures to base them on, I literally can’t think of anything more aesthetically pleasing.
For me it's the mesoamerican aesthetic with the ancient space theme. The Lizards are a very good add on but i find the big dinosaurs the most offputting
as much as i fucking hate fighting them i must admit their presentation is really cool. The inca/aztec theme really hammers home how ancient their race is
For me it's the cool origins of the race. How they where made by the gods to have their roles and they still stick to it all these thousands of years later. Love how the saurous are not only warriors in proffesion but as a litteral way of life, it IS their life and what they where made for. To be The perfect warrior. And the slann are just so absurdly powerful that it shames all other magic users in the world.
Just remember what they said before Immortal Empires came out. “What is the first legacy legendary lord you are going to play in Immortal Empires and why is it Karl Franz?”
Lol I bought Warhammer 3 after having 2 for several years the other day just to use Bretonnia in immortal empires right off the bat. Just kinda wanted to see how an army of cheap peasants handle demons lmao
TBF, it really does spice up things even if you’re not a Dino enthusiast…like, Mazdamundi & Kraq-Gar seem boring as hell to play as without it now. Also, SOMETHING is needed to make up for the Geomantic Web nothingness…it might as well be a replacement for that mechanic
I find it actually sad that Lizardmen are so reduced to jurassic Park. I want my Lizard Space mayan laser Gun regiments with orbital guns and magic toads and not a zoo. I want giantic Anicent Cities filled with mindboggling technology hidden in a Jungle and not a goose chase to find another oversized exhibit. People will inevitably compare to 40K so yes i want my tau castes as ancient as the necrons as ferocious as the kroot with a Aztec paintstyle. I want armies of Coldblooded Predators obliterating enemies of the great paln and not a themepark
I mean. Close. The Empire is really impressive. Standing against all kinds of impossible monsters with nothing but grit, ingenuity, and tactics. Sword, spear, musket, and a cannon if you're lucky. Bretonians throw away the ingenuity. Someone handed them a sword or lance, told them it was magic. "Now go kill a god." And once I realized this, I realized this. They were my favorite.
Khorne fan here, just to say that we don’t sit around waiting for an excuse to start a fight, because before that happens, we would have already started another.
Being a warriors of chaos main since warhammer 1 was hard, but being a beastmen main since tabletop, and beat my first legendary campaign as khazrak in warhammer 1.... that was real dedication to chaos
Be it written that the Council of Kings bore witness to this grudge, declared by the longbeard elders, against the Umgi Colonel Damneders of yutobe for the grave insults of our Ancestors. We have battled against those who would threaten the Umgi for a millennia, given them powers of understanding, yet these words of insult we expect from an elgi are intolerable. Be it so that any Dawi capable of poetics are obliged to come forth and insult this leaf loving umgi's honour with song our descendants will listen too for millenia
OG warrior of chaos here but I’m stuck in purgatory cuz when war hammer 3 came out my PC broke and I still haven’t been able to replace it so I see my faction finally dominating like they should but I can’t join in 😭
I’m a Slaanesh fan, forced to play undivided warriors because the developers decided Sigvald is “trying to be the everchosen” despite all his lines suggesting full loyalty to Slaanesh, haha.
Chaos undivided is the only faction I play that results in world peace. All other factions result in hegemony and eradication. With chaos I carefully vassalize as many factions as I can, allowing them to join our massive alliance where it is safe and warm.
I think my favorite two factions are the scaven and vampire counts for the soul reason that they can have incredibly cheap armies that you can throw three of your armies to one of theirs. Just push the Ai control button and let your troops do all the heavy lifting in battles, and you do the fun bits, like focusing on the most optimum magic casts and where to toss your characters at
Yaaa, I like a certain amount of micro, and that's kind of how I play, it's kind of relaxed and fun.. can field large armies without having to play too try-hard to use the army without throwing a battle
i dont like empire because i want to play historical TW, i like empire because i want to imagine myself killing all those magical monsters and elves. so. many. elves
I play Bretonia because I assume if I play Empire someone will expect me to learn a 2nd tactic. Who needs cannons? Some lady told me this sword was magic so I'm gonna go crusade against elves!
That bit about the soundtrack for Vampire Coast was spot on! Every time I try playing another faction, I say, "I miss my Vampire Coast battle theam. Time to go back."
Dwarf players reading the title being like “Writing hands ready men! A grudge might be had” Skaven just straight up ignoring the title “It will-must say we the great-best children of Great Horned One are best yes-yes!”
I like the Empire not because I prefer historical TW but because the Empire is fantasy HRE and also because I like regular humans defeating fantasy creatures and defying the odds against them. Gameplay wise the variety from full on panzer divisions to a fantasy Renaissance army not many races could do the same.
Vanilla that is what the Empire is there is barely anything Fantasy about them meanwhile happy Ogre feasting is all I need or some fun Nurgle time dwarves are also a fun time bu Empire is Vanilla as all hell
I play Beastmen because I like the gameplay loop of see thing, smash thing, repeat. Destoying the world is just a side effect. The fur baby thing is on point though.
Hey, I like Dark elves because I like dominating at range with armor piercing weapon, superior air control and warship support, like the founding fathers intended
lol lemme name some better range sisters of avelorn. hochland long rifles. deckgunners. infernal ironglaves. some might be worse by a little bit but shades are not taking on 3 of them maybe the deckgunners can get killed
5:15 its less that im a historical player and more its just really funny to me to be like "in this world with dinosaurs and chaos magic and elves and massive abominations, my weapon of choice is dudes with way too much gunpowder"
As a Skaven main im having so much with playing with my troops genes, making wolf rats have every speed upgrade and being unstable is funny af. Tacitcal speedy suiciders!
You're wrong i don't play cathay to see dragon, i play cathay for 1 mod and 1 mod only AND LET ME TELL YOU, you don't want to transform Miao Ying into a dragon with that mod.
My favorite is Bretonnia because I borderline fetishize the noble and heroic sacrificial determination of humanity to face down horrors beyond their comprehension. Nothing makes me more hype than my pathetic little peasants holding the line against chaos warriors and stormvermin and black orcs with nothing but pure stubborn determination and faith... ...and the aura of a dead hero's skeleton making them delusional enough to think they can actually beat a warrior who's very flesh is fused with his armor
Skaven are my favorite. I sorta like the angle that they were tiny and weak. Ignored by all the chaos gods despite their very chaotic nature and seen as a nuisance rather than a threat by all the other factions. They made up for their physical shortcomings with straight up mad science. Its the frankenstein vibe and underdog story that I love. They just have more personality than most the other factions in my opinion. Lizardman are a close second because I just like dinosaurs and the aztec theming is just neat. Watching a dinosaur crash through a horde of troops never gets old.
My favorite factions: - Warriors of Chaos (mostly Tzeentch, though I have exalted Heroes of Khorne with Vilitch) - Tzeentch - Chaos Demon (Mostly Tzeentch, with a touch of Khorne) Sue me, I really, REALLY like magic barrier, especially on an heavy cavalry. But damn were you spot on.
Interesting that you like the two generally opposite factions in tzeentch and khorne. Im in the same boat to be honest but flipped. I like both of their aesthetics and I tend to favor factions that lean extremely hard in to one facet such as magic or melee as opposed to a healthy mix or dose of both.
@@ExInfamous I won't lie, I do like those 2 specific gods more than their opposites (Nurgle and Slaanesh) lore-wise, but I would pick Tzeentch and Nurgle if it was not for the fact they penalize each others' authority. This is because those two subfactions are somewhat complementary abilities: - Tzeentch is extremely good at getting in and out of a fight. While having a high sustainability. - Nurgle has the highest staying power while gnawing at its foes'. While having high sustainability. Basically a front line of Nurgle working with protoss-shielded heavy cav, and backed by soul grinders specialize against Large and Infantry is a wet dream to me. A costly, end-game wet-dream. ...so Exalted Heroes of Khorne's army-wide magic resistance have to do. I also pick a mix of Khorne's Chosen with Shields and Tzeentch Chosens with Halberds with great effect and I can now afford a little bit of friendly fire (literally, and figuratively) for juicier targets..
I love to play Beastmen, Kislev, Cathay, greenskins, Tombkings, and nurgle, Dwarves, and you are mostly correct. Everything else is truly weak for almost the entire game. But i love playing tennis. I also played warriors of chaos when they still were a horde faction, in Total war Warhammer 1. I never left the chaos wastes and i just grew until turn 100 to get every building maxed for 5 armies before recruiting one actual unit.
I dunno if I am to agree with such assessment of me. I could attempt to see it ye way but the question beckons and it lingers and then... Best leave it be I say.
I just love dwarfs. Camping in a corner with sturdy infantry, missile units with shields and artillery feels so damn good (too bad they are hard countered by skaven tho). Close second is Helman Ghorst, for thr same reason in a way (camping in a forest, resurrecting my zombies...)
I like the woodelves since 1995 playing Shadow of the horned rat. Id have my cav run in circles while the enemies chase it and my archers just rain it down.
As a high elf main, i can confidently say we are the best. Also, to all brettonian mains out there, most of you are still bretonnian mains after i tell you that your "Lady" is just the Elf goddess of life Isha, which means you are literally simping for my faction. She made you so she could have a private army, and most of you know that, and you still go into battle like "FOR THE LADY!" which is just hilarious.
I have played beastmen since the dlc first released back when the units still had upkeep HAH by far the faction I like the most and yes herdstones will be raised and cities will be raised (to the ground)
I gotta it kinda accurate. The late game Chaos dwarves experience does indeed feel like you are some kind of oil baron with no friends unless they can fill up your bank accounts.
