I just found that he's the easiest to romance from my experience. Usually I just have to buy a beer from the saloon and give it to him. (I haven't made it to the summer time yet so no peppers on hand for now 😅)

Harvey is a grown man with a reliable job and life insurance. Meanwhile I routinely pass out in random places at two am and throw myself into the mines with reckless disregard for my life and he fixes me up every time without judgement, just asking me to be more careful and to take financial accountability for my poor health choices. The first time I made a new save, when I met Robin in the first cutscene, I knew I wanted to date her. So I visited her cabin and... her husband greeted me 🥲
What can I say, Sam is a dork, yes, but also he’s a human ray of sunshine, a bit naive but still it’s MY ray of sunshine with a heart of gold and I love this guy for it. Also he’s good with kids and does something on a farm basically everyday 🤷 On the other side Sebastian is pretty much a manifestation of my persona in this game, the only difference is - he’s a guy and with different color palette. After marriage he becomes a cinnamon roll.
Counterpoint: Abigail's hair apparently has turned purple permanently at some point. If you marry her, she'll occasionally mention that she can't remember the last time she dyed her hair.

I started going for Elliot because he's the only bachelor who doesn't look like a kid or is a drunk asshole or just talks about health all the time and nothing else. In another save file I wanted to go for Emily because she seems precious to me. Another interesting option would have been Maru because she's cool and a scientist (and she dresses like Waluigi lol) but I don't see her too often on my daily routes so I don't talk to her as often.

I agree I absolutely love him! However trying to gain hearts with the towns people to get achievements, I had a rare occurrence where Sebastian got mad at me. It was terrible like I woke up and he was still in bed and when I talked to him he was like "I thought about making you breakfast but I changed my mind >:(" and then stayed in bed all day. I was like😨 what did I do wrong???? I literally felt so bad about it for a while, like the chances of getting it are small so why me I always talk to him and give him giftssss I would never do something purposefully to make him mad😭
You know people be sleeping on Emily but she is one of the few marriage candidates that doesn't go through a personality change due to her interactions with the player character. She is in a place in her life where she is happy and loves herself and the world around her. She is literally bringing the farmer into her World and that's why I love her

How could you not like Harvey? He has very easy gifts, actually has a life (I feel like all the other bachelors never do anything once you marry them), is genuinely caring throughout the entire relationship and doesn’t feel fake and sappy after marriage (I swear all the other bachelor’s personalities changed after marriage), he’s an adorable nerd, and he can cook! Plus, the mods you can get for him are so wholesome! Harv works long and hard and yet still has something lovely to say to you at the end of the day!

Like, kind of like following a RU-vid personality or group and feeling like you know them and such, with full knowledge that to them you're one in a million. I LOVE Sebastian. Sometimes people misinterprets his sayings, but he does loves you. He just needs some time alone. I am an introvert like him and I do understand his bounderies. Couples needs some time alone sometimes and it's not all relationship who ends like '' ALWAYS TOGETHER' EVERYDAY AND FOREVER''. I relate a lot to this, and I always marry Sebastian in base game (I’ve been playing the mod Stardew Valley Expanded recently and gave some new romanceable characters a shot). However, in my last vanilla playthrough I married Sebastian and I was on year 2, and I had recently found out that your spouse will watch the moonlight jellies with you! I was really excited since I was close to the end of summer, and then I got to the festival and Sebastian said something like “I want to be left alone today” and I felt so bad- One, it felt like some sort of rejection which fucking sucked. Two, due to the game code (obviously) he was forced to spend time with me watching the jellies anyway. And three, moonlight jellies is my favorite festival and I cried like in real life from that. Mostly because my actual relationship was not going well at the time and it reminded me of them. Basically, I understand needing time to yourself, but admittedly Sebastian can be kind of a dick sometimes. I was so excited for this festival and he like actually, legitimately ruined it for me. I had to stop playing after that.
I love how Clint asks you to get an an amethyst for Emily and say it's from him and Emily's like I don't care where you got it from and kisses you while I'm just trying to marry her sister
When I got that quest, I barely knew her (I think I was only at one or two hearts.) When I delivered it to her, and she kissed me, I was shouting at my screen, “I’M MARRIED.” Shane and Elliott are my go to marriage candidates.
I love Shane. He feels real. Alcoholism is no joke, it turns you into someone you are not proud of. You treat people in a way you never would. The man breaks down himself to you, and if you stayed by his side he is so loyal and loving. I love him because I feel like even at our lowest point we all deserve love and understanding.
