1312 main here. Still hoping for the second video, also I wish you had mentioned how 1213 is actually one of the optimal counter throw builds. You are one of the more reputable mii brawler players and I know this video had a joking context but when you of all people say that 1213 was just a mess up of 1312 it really hits against the counterthrow community :(

I play off and on between 2231, 2232, and 1323. Regarding 1323, I am in fact a Mii veteran, I play Brawler as one of many experienced pockets but Gunner as my main (1122). Didn't really pick the counter for heavies specifically though, I don't have much of a problem with them at all. The other two, which I use much more frequently...aren't in the video. Big sad.

I can't find 2113... ;-; I like the feeling of having rapid hits with kill power for dopamine, and some other solid options for on-stage. I also like to play with Spirits, and I hate online. Some people are jerks and exploit stuff online like DK with jump Spirits, but I just like to feel powerful with on-stage combat. ..Sometimes I feel like I cling onto this game too much and should'a left after Brawl. >.

I've used 1322 the most for years so I guess yeah that's accurate 😂 I just like how much you can move directions with the kicks

As a 1213 player I'm just offended enough to make a snarky comment.

When I need to go to the Gamer Zone, I go 1312. But my comfort set will always be 1111. Onslaught and Head-On Assault are just too funny and psychologically damaging.

I don't like even numbers, I just like having a good recovery and the funny kick move and punch move.

As a 1313 person, some of the things you said are quite true.

As a 2322 and 1212 player, you are 100% right.

1322 is really good if and only if you can abuse shot put and up air into helikick as a kill option. if you can react to big moves or grabs with falling up air helikick is simply the best.

I choose 1111 for my Mii that looks the closest to the default Mii appearance. My Mii is 1333 because that’s probably how I’d play if I were in the game: throw something heavy, suplex someone, counter a hit, and uppercut up. Not flexible or powerful enough for the other attacks.

I hate feint jump. Can replace it with the burned out corn prick.

I'm a shot put onslaught Axe kick and head on assault I like making my oppent at leat 200 percent and I then put em into ground and then a smash attack I use the shot put to make my enemy feel like the fighting a DDD main which I am one

I mean, a good Head-On Assault does, what, 30%? If you can catch an opponent on the ground with it, it does ~Suplex % if not greater. And ignoring movesets that don't have Suplex, it's still good for going over lower hitboxes from a bit of a distance, meanwhile Suplex has to hit the opponent head-on. Not that Suplex is bad, but HOA has its own utility. Plus, HOA does extra drag-down damage in the air. Not that it's easy to get into a situation where the opponent is high in the air above the stage, especially since it can be airdodged if the opponent isn't trying to be offensive, which can be successful since HOA doesn't have a lot of downward range, but if you can catch an opponent off-guard then that can hurt them around... 50%? And KO if you mixup the DI right? Not that that's a great use for Head-On Assault, it's just something else that seperates it from Suplex is all. 2:52 I mean, if it works it works. Though, helikick's lack of recovery is definitely the reason I made my secondary set, Flash-Sup-SAK-HOA. That being said that was only for when I would go too low and SD, people usually didn't edgeguard me well and it was rare that I was launched an amount that made me unable to recover when I wasn't already at a high % anyway. Since that's how % works. 5:09 I'm not even a big Helikick enthusiast but it KOs middle weights at 30% off-stage. It has good base knockback but little growth after the first four dozens. It's a hyper-offensive off-stage move which is safe high in the air. Don't be spreading false narratives about moves by putting them in their worst areas -.-'' OK I noticed the text and uh, Head-On Assault breaks full shield when used up-close. Am I missing something? I thought shieldbreaks were good? And I thought it was agreed that Onslaught isn't bad, just a risky move against a safe character. It's not great to throw it out, but if you can corner your opponent into trying to land in a certain area or into airdodging you can catch them and KO them at ridiculously low %s while you're at a very high%, meaning either a comeback or complete domination. I wouldn't be so successful if the moves I used were outright bad, because I'm not some legendary player or anything. Are other movesets better? Sure, I guess, Flip Jump seems good even if I don't usually get put into situations where I need it. And... That's about it actually more-so if we include the secondary moveset because of SAK. I mean, Shot Put helps with matchups but I wouldn't use it well, I don't like camping, nor do I like edgeguarding by spamming B. I could be a Belmont if I wanted to do that. Other than that... I guess Burning Dropkick is the same situation as Flip Jump? Including the secondary form thing because Suplex? Except without offensive capability and with a more easy-to-handle movement pattern, being literally straight-forward? Like, if I'm launched super far and not very high without being KO'd then I can recover thanks to it, and if I start it off-screen then that helps with the predictability as long as the opponent doesn't have a long-reaching straight-forward projectile or something, but to be launched like that specifically, in my experience, is pretty rare. And I know Exploding Side Kick isn't the best special, and Thrupper doesn't seem like it'd be the best given that both sets have Flashing Mach Punch anyway, sooo... Yeah, my moves aren't holding me back at all, no matter how you try to justify the idea that these moves are just completely unviable. It just doesn't check out. Good video otherwise. Fun concept. Hope Part 2's fun too. Probably will be.
