They have an unreleased song called “My Business” which is 1999 R&B perfection in my opinion. The harpsichord/nylon strings, the digitalized compressed percussions and the general vibe… can’t describe it, it’s so good

As being someone who was around the industry in the late 90's & dealt with Telstar, it really was the money thrown at Victoria Beckham that brought Telstar crashing down. Because she came from the biggest girl group in the world, all resources were put into her & that did make business sense. The problem was that the general public never took to VB, she was exposed as not being solo artist material. The backlash from that was that people on the label like N Tyce suffered, because they were more risky to take a chance on. The mistake people make is that they think N Tyce were marketed to come off the back of the Spice Girls, this is simply not true. Within Telstar was an R&B hub, they were basing N Tyce on groups like TLC, Total & SWV, etc, as at that time R&B was massive. I personally think that they had the look, but, the sound a part from the single "Telefunkin" was way too pop for American R&B. So, N Tyce ended up being stuck in the middle of the UK & US market with the sound too weak for America & too Americanised for the UK. Having said that, Simon, Mike & Charlotte at the label were really nice people. They were great fun days back then & Telstar put out a lot of great stuff.

Their album is still a summer banger for me! I’m from the U.S. so we only got We All Come To Party. Thank gosh iTunes has the full album. We were missing out!

Don't even remember these girls from back in the day but it seems like they weren't promoted like the other more famous bands at the time were

Ohh and also, I’ve read a comment on a forum where some one asked abou where they went. It was from Donna I think and she said that they were working in a new album (the comment was from 2010 if I remember correctly” but it never came to be. It’s also very hard to find some of their stuff because a rapper uses the same name

I used to champion them hard. ‘we come to party’ was my favourite song of theirs 💜 I thought it was better than ‘I know where it’s at’ by all saints. I even had their first album. while I thought they were great a harmonising, I didn’t think they had good vocals individually. their strengths lied in the more rap based tracks. their style was very American. maybe that could have been a contributing factor to their demise in the uk?

That’s a good point actually. Their style was very American.

Can you imagine I only knew about the song boom boom 🤣 ashame they didn't blow up like they should have. I remember hearing somewhere that Chantal Kerzner's dad was the reason why they got a record deal because he was mega rich with businesses. The dads name is Sol Kerzner

I think Sol would have been a major factor in funding them, his net worth was around half a billion dollars.

How I prefer them to All Saints that they was underrated then the other girls group out there. How British R&B girl groups was usual at time as well.

I never really took to All Saints at all. They tried to do a come back around 12 years ago, but they never really had the fanbase so they had to shelve it

Back in their time at least one of them was working as an escort and they got into heavy drugs in a big way. It was no secret back in those circles. I think they just all burnt out when they had no real hits.
