Miss Brauner on the sharks.. buddy always played in his zone really well. And he wasn’t scared to lay the body when needed.

He was a really good bottom pair defenceman for the Flyers. Stats never showed justice for him. He was one of the few guys for Philly that would actually play good structured defence at times where it usually wasn’t. It really seemed like he helped Cam York develop when they played together

Honestly I’m suprised that Braun isn’t in nhl he great in his own zone and don’t all that matter to his game his point where neither an talking point.

Far too many young hockey fans judge defensive defenseman based on points. They fail to understand the role and how vital it is to team success, especially in the playoffs. Odd Man Rush, in all fairness, did state Braun was a defensive dman, he then goes on to list his point totals and remarking how well his seasons were based on that. Every player has a vital role, yet the role of defensive dmen and defensive forwards are dismissed by younger fans.
