The Winrun's are a false economy - they'll be worn to the threads and needing replacing in 15-20K km. Definitely only for getting a RWC on a flipper imo
I have shopped around at a lot of tyre stores and I ended up finding a place that sells cheap tires but they also have a great variety of top of the range. Tempe tyres they deliver anywhere in Australia I pay $30 to have a pair delivered to Brisbane. I buy Bridgestone potenza 5001 I think they are and they are $290 per tyre and they are a good tyre in the wet and dry. My bf has 285,000 and I have a leak at the rear of the engine but the good thing about the Barra is if you replace the rear bearing early enough then you only have to have your box taken out and the bearing can be replaced without taking the engine out.
Black is a pita to keep clean, literally looks clean for a few hours...kudos to the kid for the good work. Hopefully he can score some more work from your channel.

@@RossReviewsau if it was water that’s fine but the detergent they use will eventually strip the coating if you use it often. it’s like using dishwashing detergent. Always use a PH negative soap on coated cars.

Amazing grip they truly stick to the bitumen 100% no need to spend a fortune. Highly recommend them. I would love some advice tho on keeping my original charcoal black leather seats and other leather interior on my BF G8 Fairlane. Currently just using Armaroil leather all in one product. But feel there would be a better product particularly as the seats are heading towards 20 years old. They are in amazing condition and I desperately want to keep them in the same condition. Love your car Ross it's seriously nice mate. Such a pleasure to see where you are at. Huge inspiration to many definitely including my self. Hey John,well as you no I have a f6 exactley the same as yours,I have to ceramic coat mine to,I put a 50 mm turbo smart hyper gate on mine with a screamer,it’s so mint,don’t go a 45 go the 50 mm that way for future mods you will be ok,I put a pulsar gtx 3582 on mine still on 98 and it’s doing 560 at the treads now but now I’m gunna have to do a drive shaft,and getting the gear box,zf,tuned to cut talk on gear shifts,especially down shift to cut torque to help preserve the zf input shaft,no guarantees on that one,keep up the good job there

I wonder if anybody has put a All Wheel Drive system to the F6 with a LSD for the front wheels to keep in line with those pesky AWD Honda Civic Turbos. That would make those cheap $100 tires much less of an issue in the wet.
I was going to get my bonnet sprayed, but after seeing how your roof came out I just might let the little guy have a crack. It’s not anywhere near as bad as that roof. Also, cheap tyres are the way to go on those. I put grippy ones on my F6 FG and found it just brakes traction at a higher power level, which makes it more violent and unpredictable.
