No matter where you put it, it will have it's issues. Definitely does it's job well of drawing attention to it, and thus the app, by being on the front.
The QR code will also be used for deck checks, so that would be too much of a hassle with sleeves and everything. Same with if you want to scan someone's card to get a translation of their abilities (I'm not gonna be able to figure out my Spanish opponent's Unique with my wits alone).
@@mastersetmadness pretty sure pokemon just has one card in the pack that's just a qr code that gives you everything that was in that pack digitally. It's a much better option than having a giant ugly qr code on the front that could be stolen by anyone watching a pack opening stream. Also along the lines of pack openings, having the first card be foiled is also a mistake as it kills all build up and suspense which is what keeps people watching
While this game/IP is more so on the nonviolent aspect given the goal of the game is exploration, it still has some sad/depressing themes within the lore. The humans are fighting an uphill battle trying to explore the dangerous unknown regions. However, the lore does overall paint itself as a glass half full, and ready to be filled feeling which is nice.
Feel like the QR code being on the front and not the back is a mass fumble. Gonna make youtube pack openings and box breaks difficult for youtube, facebook, whatnot etc which then could limit the exposure. Like this happy early disneyesk style of art thought, look real nice.
