Can you show how you use your folder for clinicals? I was thinking of getting the clipboard but a folder is much more affordable. What kind of notes are you writing during clinicals? Is it hard to find a surface to write on while on the go? Thanks!

There are clinical assignments (care plans) , and I have preceptor evaluations and goals that I am working on during the day. The hard surface would be the one challenge while on the go, but most days I was able to do a lot of my school work sitting at the nurse's desks so it wasn't too bad!

As a retired optician I'm really surprised that your not wearing glasses in this or any of your previous videos. All the reading and studying necessary in becoming a nurse tends to take a toll on eyesight. No of course you could simply being wearing contacts, but in looking in your eyes i don't see any sign of contacts either. So do you really have perfect vision? I would hope that you are pretty good about taking care of your eyes and your getting your eyes checked at least every other year or even better every year. Just so you know one of symptoms to watch for is your ability to see signs when driving at night. So if you find it nearly impossible to read a street sign until your very close it you should get your eyes examine ASAP and be sure to tell the doctor that as well. I think it' great that your going to be a nurse. So many have left during and after the pandemic. We all need as many good doctors and nurses as possible. I see 7 different doctors for all my medical needs. Everything from my cardiologist, kidney doctor diabetes doctor and my sleep doctor for sleep apnea. Several of the nurses used to come to be for glasses before I retired.
