Your are right Emma, you should always have at least one extra set of clothes in your cabin bag. I've had my suitcase delayed twice, once in Spain and once in Singapore. Spare deodorant, Toothpaste and toothbrush, skin products, and some makeup, just the bare essentials, just in case. Plus all your valuables as you shouldn't put them in your checked baggage. Hope you and Chris have a fabulous time.

When we go on holiday we never have a case for one person, we get all the clothes and split them between the cases we are taking, then if one case goes missing we still have clothes in the other cases.

Never flown for a holiday always driven or used a ferry but agree has to be organised to easily find and grab items you need on the go 👏😄💖

Hi Em, i do exactly the same travelling to the US. Cases were delayed once going to Florida. Glad to have clothes and mini toiletries.

We got to Vegas and no case arrived 😮. We had to go shopping (the reception team at the Flamingo were amazing 😂) - so lesson learned and totally with you on the clothes in cabin baggage xx safe travels xx
