That's a beautiful Old Wheel Horse! Your paint work and attention to detail is outstanding, you really did an excellent job! I love to see old things brought back to life! Hats off to you!

Watching your restoration videos makes me wish i hadn't got rid of my wheelhorse , but easy come easy go.

wheel horse, cub cadet, and deere and case are the best... my favorite is Cub cadet... but i Like them all its just that Cub has so many different models that there is no way you cant find one that fits what you want or need done... These old tractors are like the 60's and 70's hot rod version of todays because just like the old cars of the 60'-70's are monsters so are these tractors

G**D****Wheel horses I struggled with the HH100s for years hated them always wanted a K series Kohler never had problems like I had with the Tecumseh. Great vids thanks.

@foxdmulder thanks fox . i dont think its leaking or the pump wouldnt work right , and its pumping plenty of fuel to carb , i think it needs bigger jet :)

Awesome 500. You are a paint perfectionist, LOL. I was going to go with TSC Kubota orange on my Sears, but reading around on the interweb and it looks like that particular brand/color fades out in about a year. Guess I'll have to pop for the expensive stuff. ;[

I wish it was for me, I mean i see some People selling em every now and then but they way to much for them in non running condition, the one i had, was in fair condition and it ran great to, but i didnt know what it was worth until i sold it for $150.00 now i feel like and idiot, But anyway hope to see you finish yours completely , done watched all the other resto vids lol

@dangeroustoys56 thanks , the shroud didnt cut it , i had to long a fuel line and it sagged down and rubbed flywheel , i got her cut to right length now :)

Great Video 500, 5*****. Thats a mighty fine hammer!!! Any chance that long hose from the vacum pump to the carb is drawing air. Have a good summere there.

Fine couple of shop workers you have there in the beginning. Whos been tearing up the driveway? As usual, the song sounds great. She took all my money Those Tecumseh/Walbro carbs can be finicky Huge thumbs up buddy!.

@flexer1200 you should be able to find model info on the toro website . you need to find the serial number . mine was right under the dashboard .

I have a wheel horse 314, did the same thing, had the carb rebuilt, the bored where the needle goes and put bushings in there, they said because its wore out is why it did that

I have dug up out of a old man junk pile a 818 kolher I need to figure if it came off a wheel horse are a gravely it looks just like the one you are building and the old will hunt. fires and all that stuff can you point me to a year model are something. thanks

ya..life aint fair .....its so much more satisfying to find the exact cause of a problem and then fix it 100%. I'm sure you will find the root cause eventually. I would sure like to know.

5 stars thats my way of boycotting the stupid thumbs up thing and al the other changes they made to youtube. they were for the worse if you ask me. your vids are still great tho man; glad to see the horse is running pretty good now. sure looks some different then that pile of parts in the background in your early videos. great job dude!

i just got a wheel horse and was wondering what the model is it's a 1966 6hp show tractor

I have a Raider 10 and a B 80 both need total resto, the Raider 10 is a 1970 and the b 80 is a 1975 the trans was full of water on the raider 10 , are these things worth putting any money in? both run one even has its original koeler 8 hp sheet metal is good but i dont know about the transmission on the 10 i took it all apart and all the bearings need replacing how much should i dump in these?i live in winston salem nc so theres a demand for tractors but i just dont know what i should put in em

I was ready to smash the engine and dump a honda on it. Techumsehs are a real pistal to set the timing. At times I could get it running good then once I loaded the engine the big bad bog came back out. HAd flywheel off a million timed and finally noticed its keyway was a bit too wide. A few thousantds of slop = a few degrees at firing. Under load it pinged itself and moved into the ungly zone. I found a flywheel and new short block on E-Bay and it improved with less bog but still bad bog

Never a need to run gas line thru a shroud. My '70 raider, and many others I have seen just go under the shroud and up to the fuel pimp .
