Wheel of Time Season 1 Episode 4 review comes back with The Dragon Reborn. Now we know there are 5 possibilities for the Dragon Reborn, who is it? Rand? Mat? Perrin? Egwene? Even Logain? This episode has battles, magic usage, warders vs armies and some great lines. But it's surrounded by so much waffle, slow scenes and just insanely out of character actions, that it's hard to see this episode as anything more than filler. Despite an extremely strong start and ending.

This episode does have some great moments, but it also totally changes the magic system, re-arranges the accepted power rating of characters and really hurts Thom's character even though he's barely been in the show. And given how much time in this episode and episode 3 was wasted, it's not like they couldn't have done Thom or Elyas justice.
