The wolf Hopper is one of the most beloved in the fandom. Most fans consider him the best boy! I like how they were showing the long-lived nature of the Aes Sedai by contrasting with Moiraine's "younger" sister. Yes, characters not communicating and sharing leads to so much avoidable drama! HA!

The scene that you reference in the last episode where Rand, still apparently in the red jacket, goes to all fire weaves that Selene/Lanfear can see, is a dream. For one thing, none of those sparking, flaming weaves, set the Inn on fire, which they should have had they actually been there in reality. Also, when he does wake up, he’s still fully clothed, and the red jacket is nowhere to be seen. And at that point, the power does spill out of him, and he does set the inn on fire. (Josha did say in an interview recently that this was one of the things that Rand was struggling with, trying to keep the power from leaking out.) When Robert Jordan was still writing the books and a fan would ask a question about something that he actually would be covering further along in the books, his usual response would be “Read And Find Out“, which fans turned into the acronym RAFO. When the series started, fans added the acronym WAFO, “Watch And Find Out.“ Well, in regard to Lanfear‘s ex, that’s a WAFO. 😀

Just to clarify as it was brought up in season one, women cant see men channelling (and vice versa), so selene not understanding the inn before does make sense

I am amazed at how fast you can rattle off that intro!🤯🤭 Back in S1E4, Moiraine mentioned that women can't see men's weaves, so Selene/Lanfear couldn't have seen Rand's ... that's partly why I think Rand was dreaming last episode when she was saying she wasn't scared of him (then he woke up and burned down the inn).
