A Quick tutorial with a few tips to think about as we move into wheel pose yoga also known as Urdhva Dhanurasana in the Sanskrit Language. Make sure you are already warmed up through your spine before taking this class.

That is genius, I’ve never been told or tried these techniques, and u are rite when people do this pose in class everyone jus pops up and then on to something else, I’m not out of shape, but it’s been like a mental block on these, pushing diagonal makes way more sense ty

well im still on the two first chest openers and far from 3 minutes so guess I gotta get those shoulders stronger and more of a relaxed chest! hug the elbow helps; thank you

Hello, thank you so much for this wonderful video! I struggle with the fact that I bend too much in my lower back and not at all in my mid/upper back. Back is extremely stiff, and my lower back hurts whenever I do backbends. What should I do to fix this?

Lizette , I watched your video thrice last night to follow exactly what you are saying. Then this morning I simply recalled your words- hug the elbow & move forward and magically my wheel improved. Lift wheel pose was easy to do for me but i wasnt able to get my hands under shoulder, your video changed it! Thank You🙏🏼. I will tag you on IG if i am able to find you 🙏🏼🙏🏼

What a fantastic tutorial. I've struggled with my arms in wheel and couldn't work out why and turns not hugging the elbows and pushing up rather than forward are my issue. Can not wait to try tomorrow Thank you so much
