I was looking forward to getting SR08s and was so bummed out when he said theyre discontinued, but I kept watching and im sold on those CS8. Getting a set of 18x9.5 in white next summer.
@@ESRWheels Hey ESR was the offset on the matte bronze cs8 in this video +35? or was it either the 22 or 15? i’m looking to get 18x9.5 +35 but iv wanted to make sure the one in this video would be the one i’m getting. thank you in advance
I've ran 18x10.5 SR08 for years, with ZERO complaints. They are great! But what I'm really interested in... is the weight difference between the two designs... Could we get a little more info on that? same weight, more/less?
Weight on some sizes is around 1lb lighter however the load rating which is important is greater now on the CS8 vs the SR08. Around 100lbs greater load rating per wheel.
My buddy has the CS08 in 18x10.5 and he weighed then at 35 pounds per wheel. These wheels at look nice, but they are super heavy, that’s they they won’t specify any of the weights.
@@DUNGSTA was gonna buy the SR08 and i don’t really like this new style. So i just decided to spend a bit more money and get the Work kiwami wheels since the SR08 are no longer in production.
Yes we explain how we eliminated more weight with our front bowl design. We explain that in the video.. those little holes next to lug holes won’t reduce anything maybe some ounces not even 1lb.
Hes just saying the whole video “look this is why these are better” and then only reason to back up any thing is just because they are different different isint always better...my honest opinion i don’t like em :( sr08’s look way nicer only thing i like is the milled logo on the face thats about it
You're not wrong, but he also seems to be half sarcastic about it cuz they're serious about it not coming back and don't want customers asking for the SR's. I also think the SR08's were perfect and I was super bummed out when I found out they were discontinued just as I was about to buy a set. I've been on the fence about the CS8's for like 4 months now cuz they were recently introduced and had no pictures of them online. But if the matte bronze looks accurate in this video then I think I'm sold :)
