The fact that these chairs have the angled wheels to allow them to make sharp turns without losing balance and some of these guys made moves that lead to their defender falling over anyway is kinda insane
@@OGRU-vidEnjoyer No he's right you're an idiot. Try shooting a basketball sitting down. Just because they do it all the time doesn't make it less impressive. You sound fucking dumb.
Dude, the way they move on those wheelchairs is like challenger mechanics. Their spins, shake n bakes, screens are so clean man. All the best to them all.
Technically, in some leagues, you don’t even need to be disabled. Just got to sit in wheelchairs. Imagine just “accidentally” standing up in a disabled league and dunking lol 😂
Jack Tang no he’s actually right. this requires more skill, but basketball requires more athleticism. you can be bailed out by athleticism in basketball, but in this you have to rely 100% on skill
@@jacktang7022 actually chair basketball requires this set of skills too, but at other ways, however, as you can't rely as much at speed and power (as Lebron) your skill counts even more. For example, someone with lebron's power, but without any skill, can still dominate by just dunking every time, but at wheelchairs power is almost useless (you know what I mean)
Bro I'd love to see the best wheelchair players clown NBA players (who would also be in wheelchairs obviously). Thst would be hilarious to see someone like LeBron or KD get their ankles taken by some dude running (more like pushing) circles around them
I expected this to be a clumsy pathetic attempt at basketball but this is an actually interesting game, fast and dynamic, which is engaging to watch. Huge respect to these guys for pushing it so far with their limited abilities!
@@kareemal-saghir4721 probably more fun and deserving of a place in the game than the wnba I understand the practical reasoning on why it's more convenient to have the wnba But if they're really trying to do justice to the beauty of basketball and providing the players the best quality entertainment This would be in 2k not WNBA
Some comments are funny but I find this downright wholesome and nice. I literally couldn’t do this I bet but props to these guys, following their dreams no matter what hardships they face.
Severely underrated comment! - From a T5 complete injury paraplegic.. truly don’t believe there’s a better roast to a fellow paraplegic for the specific scenario hahahah If anyone could give me any information as to where I could reach out to join / tryout for ANY league, it would be appreciated more than you know! I would love the opportunity to experience that type of camaraderie with a team again while I’m still somewhat young! (The motivation is also for high intensity competition again 💪)
Elite x Hezi y’all actually get a laugh out of stuff like this... it’s honestly embarrassing that someone’s child is laughing and making jokes about disabled people
I’ve had the opportunity to try this sport out and once you’re in the wheelchair you realize how much power you generate from your legs/lower body. You gotta shoot with your arms only (which is so weird at first) and they get tired after pushing the wheelchair all the time so it gets even harder shooting the ball.
I have sireus a lot of respect voor this guys. They are literally playing basketball whit no legs and they have fun. And the best of al is its more entertaining then the WNBA😂😂😂
*I seriously have a lot of respect for these guys. They are literally playing basketball with no legs and they have fun, and best of all its more entertaining than the WNBA😂😂😂
@Olaoluwa Akomolede it doesnt matter how small your phone is, if you are spelling 'serious' as 'sireus' that just means you dont know english. I and E are literally on the opposite ends of the keyboard
@@jcthaschoolboy1469 yeah but you say that when you already have a negative bias towards the league. Plus that's fucked up when you say that they "talk too much". That's no different from what Laura Ingram said to LeBron. Just because women play the game differently doesn't mean it's bad. Get to know the game before you talk. If you barely even watch it then you can't say nothin
@@Lewpsman I mean compared to its contemporary, the WNBA is definitively bad. It actually loses money, many of their star athletes are sub par compared to the original NBA. You can't simply say they play different when it's the same sport. I do agree that a lot of people harshly talk about the WNBA, and they are over scrutinized. However, when the skill and revenue gap between both leagues is so noticeable, it explains how many negative comments can be made.
@@soupryu I would say that "they play different" is a good point because they literally can't play like male athletes. They don't have the same physique as men. So they play the game slower, and plan out their plays more. So I would say they play very differently, even though it's the same sport. Also I feel like it's just wrong to say they're "sub par" because they're pros. It doesn't really get much better than that
It’s because they either have been handicapped from birth or just have been like in a accident or something and one day their doctor probably told them that they won’t ever walk again so those guy’s said: Ok fine, so then I’ll train myself to be so much in "shape" and so now they can move like terminators 🦾😆
