Amazing how sports can give anyone a purpose in life. Respect to people like these who show committment push and their physical and mental barriers. ☺👏
@@seanbarker9272 i know what are you trying to do....let me explain to you a purpose is something thats gives us an extra motivation for life, to do more and push ourselves...i didn't said disabled people don't have any purpose in life....i said sports can give anyone a purpose in life. Don't twist my words buddy. Hope you get well. 😊
Thanks for taking time out to come and see us we are now fully backed by the WBC looking at amateur and pro but our main goal is the Paralympics thanks for all the comments
These guys are the wheel deal 😎 seriously though massive respect to these fellas. They got bigger balls than all the know it all critics on the internet who will chat shit about this.
Very interesting. I would have thought that the need to drop your guard in order to move the chair would have made this infeasible as a sport since staying stationary and never engaging would be too strongly advantaged. I do see a bit of that going on, especially when red tried to approach blue in the corner, but I was surprised by just how much blue was able to move around without getting hit. It seems like the reduced reach helps here.
This is nuts, and inspiring at the same time. Now, can we extend the fights to themed places like subway train reserved spaces, elevators, all-access ramps, parking spaces. Just give the fully-able folks a little 'hint' :-)) Great stuff, thank you guys.
I’ve been in a wheelchair my whole life and all I ever wanted to do is box it’s all I can think about. It may seem silly to some people but I have a passion for combat sports that I can’t let go of I get emotional watching real boxing because I see what I could’ve been if I had my legs, I wish this was more common like other wheelchair sports. But boxing is all foot work and power comes from the legs so I feel like this type of sport wouldn’t take off
Well you might not see it this way but im sure there's even more passionate people who might think other wise and i love boxing and i have a few friends of mine who are on wheelchairs and they wouldn't mind doing Boxing sitting on a wheelchair I believe it's all based on the courage and the willingness to do a sport because im sorry to tell U this but you seem like you lost hope on doing and practicing Boxing
Not being able to stand and change foot work makes hand speed a lot slower and punches a lot wider. I had severe headache this am and I just got up and started throwing and that blood pumping got headache gone I threw maybe 30 or so punches and headache gone. If some one has headache that’s another good reason to do punching practice. Good job for wheel chair boxing. Keep it up. Good video.
I didn't even know wheelchair boxing was a thing until I heard Connor McGregor was doing a wheelchair boxing fight for charity. Too bad he's fighting a comedy impressionist. One of these guys would definitely knock him out. The upper body strength on these wheelchair boxers is insane!
These are athletes.Show some respectStop calling disabled athletes inspirational. It is deeply, deeply offensive. [Calling a disabled athlete 'inspirational' is VERY disrespectful. Especially for elite athletes like these men]. Regards, Alison.
Grandi pugili, in maglietta nera più potente ma grande esperienza e movimento di tronco del pugile in maglietta bianca, aggiudicherei la ripresa al bianco. Grandi atleti 🥊❤
Nothing wrong w it imo, they arent fighting guys who arent in wheelchairs, just two men having a go at each other on their own terms, not like youre paying ppv to watch it 😂
Unles you're in a wheelchair you have no right to an opinion on whether we choose to get in the ring or not, for some of us this is a release from everyday life being in a wheelchair, this gives us the get up and go and makes us feel alive! What we choose to do with our lives is upto us, if that means getting punched in the head, so be it, it's not your life to judge!
What is it about wheelchairs that brings out the gimp in OTHER people? FFS it’s a sport like any other. Why does ANYONE play sport/compete? And what does using a wheelchair have to do with any of it? I dare half of these fuckwit commenters challenge pro chair boxers to a fight. But make sure they can’t use their legs for defence/power/manoeuvring/etc
Come on man this bullshit has gotta stop, people capitalising on this shit. This is a joke surely no offence and all but it’s absolutely ridiculous that they have put this on
