NSCD (National Sports Center for the Disabled) has a wonderful program in Winter Park, CO. You should check it out! I’ve been twice and both times were amazing experiences.
Great question! Sled/Sledge Hockey is similar but done at hockey rinks/arenas. In snow skiing, the sticks are called "outriggers" and you have modified, small skis on the stick. You pull a string to put them into skiing mode. In sled hockey, the sticks (sled hockey sticks) look slightly different (more like a short, modified hockey stick with a metal bracket on the end) to help you dig into the ice to navigate and then you flip it down to hit the puck.
