Great video! I am going on my first train ride other than at cedar point lol! The cuyahoga valley train ride with my dad I think it will Be a great ride.I’ll be thinking of hobo shoestring the whole time and how he loved the rails. And I just learned a little bit of history in my neighborhood that used to run the cuyahoga right through my neighborhood. That would have been really awesome..Going exploring soon to see if I can find some remnants I’m recovering from a hip replacement so I’m about a month I’m all over it.Crazy but someone in my neighborhood has a railroad crossing sign and it’s way tucked back down the road. Thanks again!!
Great as always Matt thanks for sharing. I’m still looking for an O scale Cadillac grainer for my layout if you see one. I don’t think Lionel ever heard of our friend.❤
If I knew someone at Lionel, I'd suggest them getting ahold of his sisters & licensing an official Shoestring Cadillac Grainer...complete with miniature Hobo Shoestring & a miniature Shoestring tag....Promise I'd be a best seller!!
Some of those used cars they use are hilarious. I know the Rock Island and the Lake Erie Franklin Clarion cars are on their way out I see the newest thing now is a batch of Union Pacific cars and the group before them were the Canadian National emblem with CC reporting marks which are Chicago Central and were transferred.to the CN several years upon the lines acquisition. Plus add in those cars of scrap and two matched sets of SD40S. Warm and sunny with beautiful sky you absolutely can't go wrong
W&LE works with what they have. Their rolling stock may not be the newest but they work with what they have and it does the job. I'm always happy to see them. It's pretty awesome that we in this area have our own class III railroad.
Hi Matt, a beautiful sunny Sunday! Oh I love tiger locos 4 of them WOW! That is a long heavy train, no wonder it needed all those locos to pull that train, great catch. Enjoyed that Matt thanx. 😊❤👍
