We take our Jeep Wrangler JKU and LJ on one ton axles and 40 inch tires to Black mountain Offroad park in Harlan Kentucky. We run the White Tail trail.

Been riding Black mountain since 06, it's getting good and broke in. As far as the sleeve on tie rod, mine has 6 set screws, it's never loosened up. 6" ram on a Toyota
Hahaha. I was thinking the same then when I saw where he was going. I tried to correct it, but he didn’t hear me. But it all worked out in the end and we got him up!
Take a Dremel tool with a miniature cutting disc on it and make cross-hatch grooves on the inside of the steering collar. The texture will help it grip the tie rod. And use Red threadlock on the bolts.

I agree with the air. He has some inner beadlock similar to a tube where he has to keep that at 20psi or somewhere around there and then run 3psi in the carcass of the tire. It doesn’t make much sense to me. And I’ve never looked into it. And his crawl is somewhere around 100:1 but like to ride 2nd and 3rd gear instead of 1st.
Great idea. I’ll try that. My last tie rod was DOM tube so I got it in place and just added tac welds so it won’t move. Wasn’t sure what to do with the aluminum one. Thank you!
Technically there are ways but it’s not simple. I didn’t realize the clamp was steel. Can you swap it out for an aluminum clamp and or bracket so someone can TIG weld it for you?
Josh needs to learn how to spot better cause the Wrangler would have done better!! Also the lady needs to talk less it made the video suck cause I have to fast forward alot!!!!
