As long as you're not considered "fouling the tracks", meaning keep at least 4 feet from the tracks and not trespassing on Railroad property, there's really nothing they can do to you! Sounds like that guy was just trying to be a trouble maker, sadly you run into those types from time to time!
There are several RU-vidr's who do railroad video's so there's nothing "weird" about you being there. I feel sorry for the female who's stuck with this hillbilly. Anyway those older locomotives are classy and I really enjoy watching them. Also: Thanks for your military service, you're in roughly 7% of US Citizens..
The guy in the SUV was probably fired by the railroad. His poor wife or girlfriend looks tired and embarrassed. Bet her life is a living h-e-double hockey stick with that jerk. Lord, I hope that guy sees these comments!
That guy may probably did work for the railroad but with that attitude he did work for long As far as wife she was absolutely embarrassed That guy clearly didn't know the Constitution for sure I 1st amendment free press I blew his mind when I rattle off the forth amendment when he asked i took the oath in the army for the Constitution and I will defend until the day I die thank you very much for the comment
Nice chase and switching video! What was that guys problem at the crossing? Sounded like he thought you worked for the railroad and he was hating on the railroad and you. I like when you said he will make a good thumbnail. Lol, that was epic! I gotta use that line. Yes, I agree that Trigogglin has a great channel. A few places that he featured I want to visit. 73s de KB8JUL
Thank you sir follow ham It's a good thing that guy didn't get out of his truck he would've gotten maced and out come want wouldn't been too good 73 Mike N8rbi
Wow. I thoroughly enjoyed this video! That guy is definitely a “Karen”, I hope this video gets a million views!!! I love those SD-40’s in those colors - awesome!
Thank you very much for the compliment it's a good thing that guy didn't get out of his truck because he would've gotten maced outcome wouldn't have been good
If the guy in the grey SUV was so annoyed by the train then all he had to do was turn around and find another way across the tracks. No sense in starting a needless argument with someone who was minding their own business. It almost amazes me how hateful people in general have become here in this world. The guy clearly showed his ignorance. Keep doing what you are doing and just ignore someone like that.
My wife and I watch Dan Sheekoz on RU-vid, it's a Russian husband, wife, and toddler daughter, not train related. Yet we've never seen anyone cause a problem like the Karen did on your show. I was a Union Rep for years, the Karen is a tough guy, big talk, but little essence. I've seen people sound tough, then fall apart when challenged by the company. Honestly, we were told to remain 6' or more from active railroad tracks, we even had a walkway on a railroad bridge, and were permitted on the bridge when in use, I couldn't believe how much the end of the cars jutted out (there was a curve on the bridge), but there was a line, I doubt it was 6' from the rail, and we'd have to stay behind it. To do maintenance jobs within a certain proximity to tracks (in-plant, with rail traffic moving slowly), De-Railers were used, with a sign that indicated it was in place. But guys sometimes put them on backwards, then they'd be not much more than speed bumps. I remember telling a guy I knew that he just put it on backwards (it's supposed to result in the wheel coming off the tracks, but put on wrong, it lifts the wheel pushing towards the center of the tracks and the flange on the opposite wheels keeps it on the track). He got angry briefly, he had many more years in the mill than I, but he saw the truth in what I said and he flipped it around. The Karen spent too much time on the issue. If he had a legitimate concern, he should of just stated it without the barking.
Some people just can’t mind their own business, that Karen just proved he is a true jackass. I’m fortunate that I haven’t had to deal with a Karen yet.
That's for sure his wife was embarrassed the whole time when he was doing that good thing he didn't get out that truck he would have gotten maced thank you for the comment
These days you can’t enjoy yourself rail-fanning without some Karen’s giving their opinions. Even though it was a really long train, the guy could of easily turned around and went the other way instead opening his big ass mouth. Just impatient. Cool video besides the Karen.
Do the railroad employees have to put up with that level of abuse as well? What the hell is wrong with folks thinking they can behave like that. I remember ten fifteen years ago when I used to think Americans were the politest folk I knew. What happened to y'all?
I imagine the railroad employees get the same amount of abuse as the rest of us people people are nowadays or ridiculous because of bad schooling education from politicians being programmed to think on the dummycratic side go figure thanks for the comment
When I had to shoot trouble or do checks at Solida Rd.South Point Ohio even the cops gave me hell ! One time a little old lady and her friend pulled up she cussed me up one side to the other. When she was done I asked her if she kissed her grand kids with that mouth which made her friend laugh and grandma sped off..
@@retiredsignalman5865 Yo lady probably kissed her grandchildren the police will try to prosecute anybody they can for everybody is in jail they get federal funding regardless of the person's innocent or guilty plaintiff or the criminal thank you for the comment
Absolutely we do. I had the cops called on me just last week because the business we serve has a noise curfew, but it does not apply to the train despite this Karen thinking it does. Local ordinances like that are useless in regard to railroad operations. Unfortunately the business owner does not want to 'stir the pot' with his neighbors so we have to delay serving him until the next morning. The train was there at 7 PM but for some reason he can't make any noise after 4:30 PM.
Great catch of the SD40-2's.... I "love" the paint scheme... very reminiscent of the D&RGW. PS; If you want to REALLY agitate a "Karen"... Don't even acknowledge them.... don't pay Any attention to them whatsoever, don't even look at them.... just keep doing whatever you're doing just as if they're not even there. When you respond to them, you're only degrading yourself by stooping down to their level... prove yourself better than them by just ignoring them.
What I love about the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad is that they have their own Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad heritage locomotives in the form of ex D&RGW SD40 tunnel motor locomotives and SD40s
@@miken8rbiradio220 With an attitude like his and making a scene like he did for no reason, I’m sure he won’t be getting any for a long time! If he weren’t such an asshole, maybe his life would be better! Instead, he has to take out his anger on random train enthusiasts! Stay safe out there!
Luv yer videos. Next time some ass wagon starts attacking you like that, instead of responding to them in their own language swearing back at them, just blow them a kiss. I've done a couple times in traffic and it pisses him off worse than anything you could ever imagine, they really blow their top when you do that😆😆😂😂
Haha the only word he knew was “scumbag” what a real genius! Good thumbnail indeed! What’s wrong with people no patience anymore, the good thing with the young people now a days is when they’re waiting at a crossing they’ll stare at their phones for hours and not notice time going by…but old timers got nothing better to do! Lol.
The W&LE passes through my neighborhood in South Fayette Twp., PA. When my kids were younger they loved to watch the trains go by. We never set foot on the tracks or near them. Last year, three teens were walking on an elwvated part of the track. A 17 year old girl was killed. The tracks thru my neighborhood are busy hauling natural gas.
@@miken8rbiradio220 You're welcome. It is not that I need or want to remind you - railfans know and respect the power of trains - it's that if everyone respected trains we wouldn't have accidents and fatalities.
OH geez. I catch trains in Bradford Pennsylavania home to the Buffalo and Pittsburgh railroad, we get lots of idiots. One time two girls were going across the tracks and the gates were going down, they tried to go across the gates but they were almost all the way down, I noticed them and shouted "Stop! The gates! Whats the matter with you!??" And they were pissed at me, then turned around and walks the other way.
I watched a video of a driver running in front of an NS train on 19th street in Erie, PA then some looney tune walking down the street jumped on to and climbed over the very same train !
Some nasty female once harassed my Grandfather and I while watching trains in Western New York State in 2002 ! I love Pennsylvania and the B&P too I also miss the SD-45’s !
Gosh. I’m a big fan of the D&RGW. It was long gone when I was born. Glad to see that she’s gone, but not forgotten. And don’t listen to them. They probably have nothing better to do and like being rude.
Thank you sir probably shouldn't have say a word but me though I don't know it's just me it's a good thing he didn't get out of that truck he would've gotten maced again thank you very much
Think he was pissed it was so slow and stopped. When trains do this its always for a good reason, think he is forgetting almost all the stuff that he buys comes by train and trucks and they are essential to us all. Definitely a Karen who doesn't think before he opens his mouth, guess he thinks they stopped just to block him or something.
Very well said where would we get our toilet paper our cat food groceries lumber you name it they have it all very well said once again thank you for the comment
Reminds me of working on a street crew, old men like that with nothing better to do would shit talk that were blocking the road and be the first to complain that shit never gets fixed. Nothing more sad than an old man with a shitty attitude that's life is so miserable he has to put down others to make himself feel good.
Thank you for sharing, sorry you had to endure that foul ball, his copilot looked miserable and pretty fed up with him too. Having yard sales is no picnic either, I don't offer any deals to those kinds of people and typically the price goes up when ever I see them coming!
YEP, sadly this is all part of the hobby... similar thing happened to me a couple weeks ago and has from time to time over the years. Usually in small towns with weirdos who are bored out of their minds That guy's poor wife though... the embarrassment is palpable
Lol that truck driver sure needs an ass whoopin’. And who knows who’s that crazy woman who’s with him. By the way, that gate sure has a delay. Needs to be calibrated.
Looks like Karen got his boxers in a twist! I couldn’t hear what he was yelling but he was triggered by that train…clearly his parents never bought him a train set and it shows!
I don't get it. Why is the dude so angry? It's none of his business what you do. It has absolutely no effect on him. Side note: my son and I caught some WLE action this past spring on a trip to PA. Pretty cool railroad.
That's a very good point I think the next time if this does occur that I'm not gonna say anything unless he comes out and tries to confront me or something that he will get a face full of mace I will stand my own ground and I don't back down and I do not stop Thank you much for the comment
Yep, you’re great at life when you’re driving a no newer than a 98 Chevy Tahoe, I’ll bet that dude is a retired cardiac surgeon! No wonder he has great manners and a hot wife!!
Great video and you handled the Darren (male Karen) in the gas ⛽️ guzzler. I have delt with a guy like this before too. I just gave him the bird 🐦 and told him to go ef himself.
YES FINALLY, someone got it right!!!! I've also heard male Karens called "Darren" lots of times. Before I stopped drinking, I was often like that, so I encourage it. ...my name really is Darren, and I know not to take myself so damn seriously.
Your language was just as uncalled for as the guy on the road's behavior. If someone is doing something like that, don't feed into it. That puts you on their level. As long as they're not physical, just ignore them.
Very good point there sir but the thing is I always stand my ground and he gets what he gave me besides free speech 1st amendment i say whatever i want back to him If he did got out of that truck out come wouldn't have been too good he would've gotten maced in the face
Nice work, there. Sorry about your encounter with the train hater. He probably got pissed because he thought it was your fault, like you could split the train in half and he'd be on his merry way. If it went for the railroads he would have that vehicle. Hope his wife ignored him when he got home.
I've Got a Feeling this knob had been hen pecked as he waited 8 minutes to lash out at you. Too bad he couldn't appreciate the train but looking at her expression this guy is no socialite. Always glad to see W&LE as it is unremarked but is a big Regional player Keep the camera rolling son too bad you got stuck with the county Jag. No walkaround $$!$ Big Truck. Small Anatomy
That could be a possibility but Supreme Court has ruled there's no expectation of privacy in public public photography is not a crime and people need to know the Constitution the 1st amendment free press thank you very much for the comment
for that dude that harassed you: I hope that his employer sees this... terminates this dude for cause and misconduct... and gets denied unemployment. an embarrassment to his work place.
That guy Is probably wasn't employed anyway he was probably on welfare anyway so therefore I paid for this truck and food It's just a shame that Some people are stupid sometimes Anyway thank you very much for the comment you take care
The W&LE runs right past my daughter/son-in-law's alpaca farm near Kent, Ohio. Did anybody get a video of the coach and business car on Saturday afternoon, October 29th? I wonder what that was all about?
Hello there I'm not sure what you mean by that although I have not seen anything like you described But anyway thank you very much for the comment take care now
@@miken8rbiradio220 I don't know much about the W&LE except to say the ROW forms the western boundary of their farm - beginning south of the gated crossing at Seasons Road, north of Kent. There seems to be a daily n/bound train during the night with s/bound return late mornings Monday-Friday. That Saturday afternoon I was surprised to hear the Seasons Road crossing gate and then see 106 pulling these two passenger cars - one being an open platform observation or business car. I have since called their Customer Service number to learn more. I was told the railroad owns these two cars - but not housed on the property. They are used to show customers and potential customers the property and potential business locations. However, the train I spotted back on October 29th was actually a day long excursion that was won by an employee at the company picnic - an event for family and friends. How kewl is that!!!
Amazing how all your amendments make everyone angry. We have a constitution in australia, I don’t know what it’s says, we’ll look it up if anything goes wrong.
Yeah they do have nice coloring and they're the only railroad that keeps their locos nice and clean too look at CSX and Norfolk Southern always dirty nasty thank you for the comment
As you recall in the video though I did say please keep your your comments to yourself so he wanted to engage more so he got back what he gave me the thing is I stand my own ground he gets back what he gave to me If he would have got out of that truck though he would have gotten maced in the face He actually made the video better because my ratings is number one on this particular video It's just a fluke that it ended up being number one
I think you were quoting the 4th amendment. And besides. Neither of you are government actors. So the first amendment doesn’t apply. That being said, thank you for these great catches of a line I’ve always wondered about. It takes patience to get this sort of video. Keep up the great work.
I remember I interviewed once last year with the WLE/WE for a Brakeman/Conductor position before I recently got picked up by CSX, for whom I complete the DOT screen Wednesday. I may still think of going back to them one day if I ever want to do a shorter haul in my later years.
Yea gotta love rail fans.there is nothing like us! We notice the new axes & springs 👍🏾 and also the American economy is at work ! and because that person is held up by the train he just had to say something to somebody...anybody.
some people man some people smh..awesome to see the little guys like the W&LE lines as the sort lines are pretty challanging to catch concidering the timeframes some early in the AM some at the middle of the night!.
That guy that wasn't that outdated suburban. Who wants to make a bet that he hits his wife?! His wife totally looked like she was ready to divorce his dumb a. Straight up lucky I wasn't there with you I would of had had your back brother.
I don't doubt that guy would be hitting his wife and she is wanting to Divorce him what a knucklehead he is. thanks for the nice comment about you have my back I really appreciate that but I was ready for him I had a can of Mace my pocket ready to go in Case he try to start something thank you very much for the comment
Loved railroading, hated working for the NS and Wheeling.Contain was the last railroad that cared about the workers. Always going to get these kind of people no matter where you go. In Marina always loved taking kids with their parents on short rides. Can't do that now with all the cameras and crap.
