You no longer have an excuse to stay home and not go flying. The Kingfisher has three sets of landing gear for taking off from ground, water and snow. After assembling the basic model it will only take a few seconds to attach your selected landing gear. In this video we show the wheels but in future videos we'll show the floats and with luck, if the weather cooperates, we'll demonstrate the skis.

Nice review of the FMS Kingfisher. Quite a capable aircraft, looks good in the air and easy to see. Trainers have come a long way.

It should come with the Reflex stabilisation system so just needs 1 channel for ailerons.

SR-71 was abandoned long time ago now. After a lot of initial effort I decided it was not suitable for conversion to RC for several reasons.

@@EssentialRCI always wondered what happened with the SR-71. I'll have to check, but I seem to recall a video of why it was never finished. You said, "convert to rc". I thought this was a RC aircraft, not a model of one.

@@airhammer6203 It has no design features that make it easier to fit out with RC power system or electronics or enough design to incorporate internal structures that would enable it to survive the stresses of flight. It's a thick foam shell. Too much work, skill and experience needed to transform it into a flying machine.

I have this but with a 2450 lipo battery. Unflown as yet but is the battery decent enough please

Fairly sure I used a 2600 size pack.

@EssentialRC My Arrows f15 64mm is only 3500mah so 5000 for such a small plane seems excessive
