Have no idea how fucking great it felt seeing watching chat KEKLing this man during stream into cheering for him on livestream cause none of us knew that it would go so horribly wrong with this many wishes. May this be a lesson to any player, never to hard commit to the weapon banner unless you’re very financially stable or anything regarding more than one fucking pity. Last guy was so nice about the whole ordeal too.
I learned from ittos banner bc I saved months and months and had up to 299 wishes by the end and I lost all of it. got qiqi then itto and then got mod then skyward blade then finally redhorn. I felt so depressed...I almost didn't get kazuha. I had to grind every corner and crevice to get wishes for him and even kazuha took 150 something pulls 😭
Weapon banner is 37.5/62.5 though. You have a 75% chance to get one of the rate-up 5 star weapons, which one you get out of the two is 50/50. Therefore 50% of 75% = 37.5%. Not getting a featured weapon is 25%. And if you get a non-banner weapon first, then the second 5 star weapon is a 50/50 between the two banner weapons. The odds change depending on what you get.
2280 wishes should guarantee a C6 Yoimiya and R5 Thundering Pulse in the absolute worst case possible, I think. 90 wishes * 2 * 6 for Yoimiya and 80 wishes * 3 * 5 for the weapon. That's 364,800 primos or $4514 USD. Edit: I just realized days later you need 7 pulls for a C6 so it's even more 💀
it's even crazier when you think that if it was your first time buying then c6r5 would cost you $4710.42 USD and if it wasn't then it would be $4870.8 USD
They don't call her Keqing for nothing. That's the sound Mihoyo hears whenever someone pulls her and has to spend more money to get the character they want. I honestly think this is one of the most predatory games ever made.
its a gacha game, every gacha game is predatory in some way lmao im not saying this to justify the predatory nature of gacha games, i think that this being an industry standard has ruined some games that could've been great without such tough gacha aspects that ruin the experience entirely as it stays boring and stale for long periods of time, or get too tough at some point to get you to spend money. its really unfortunate.
Personally, I'm convinced the weapon banner odds aren't actually an even 50-50 between the two promoted weapons. I always get the weapon I'm not charting for first.
It's like 37.5 or something. I think that's how Atsu explained it anyway. Or 35. Which make sense. And is why I really don't ever pull on the weapons banner.
My girl friend almost left me when I c6’Ed Yoimiya last year. R1 thunder and c6 yoi for $1k. Lost all my 50/50s on weapon banner. Now days my limit is $200 and I’m happy if I can get a c1.
got yoi guaranteed at about 30 pulls (had 40 pity) and then went to the weapon banner with what I had left and got thundering in 10 0 pity. i’m so broke rn so I have never felt so blessed
i did 90 pulls, got a yoimiya c6 xinyan(when started didnt have her), got two kujo sara copies, got bennet to c5, and i didnt get a single yun jin copy
going for c6 Yae, I lost SIX consecutive 5050s, and none of them were early :))) i havent really whaled on anything in genshin since then and honestly that was probably the kick in the ass i needed lol but it does suck for that to happen
i already got yoimiya on her first banner, but was pulling for the heck of it hoping to guarantee a sumeru character and i got my first keqing ever on this banner so something is definitely amiss

I got my first C0 yunjin for yoimiya,now I'm building her Do you think yunjin buff on par with Bennet, I want to replace Bennet with yu jin while Bennet goes to ganyu's team
@@fischl5101 at C0, they are on par but she's worse when Bennett is at C5. Mine is at C4 during Shenhe's banner, and yep you need at least C3 to surpass Bennett wholely (on NA DPS at least)
I hate the weapon banner so so so much. The only 2 times I've really tried was for Kazuha's signature weapon and i got back to back 2 5 star weapons and they were both not his sword. It then took me around a further 80 pulls to get it. I HAAAAATE their weapon system
Yoimiyas design is so pretty, one of the reasons i wanted her…i honestly don’t know how i managed to get her 2 times in just 25 pulls with only 12 pity
I've lost almost every 50/50 for the last 10 months but today the gods of luck blessed me with winning 3 50/50 yoimiyas in a row and also winning the signerature bow for her in 25 pulls winning the 50/50 as well. I can't believe it. But it's real. Yes I 🐋 around $250.
i can relate,1st is from yelan's banner i got her c1 on a single 10 pull session,then a c2 kazuha with only 7k primos(my 1 year of luck just got used) and yesterday a single yoimiya on semi hard pity (around 82 pulls in) and it costed me about a half year of welkin and every battlepass from before yelan's banner i think,congrats btw for the epic win🎉
I didn't even end up with a summit shaper but got a lost prayer somehow lol really wanted a thundering pulse so I could put it on Yoimiya but I guess I already have an r4 rust that works for now. oh well, time to save up the rest of it all for Sumeru.
