Every Musician who plays or has played in a band, orchestra, etc. The Instrument is always worth more than you or your well being. Never forget it.

Or forgetting my music. Or not having enough sousaphones for everyone, because it’s not only my middle school going, but two others. My middle school only has two sousaphones. Idk how many sousaphones are at the high school and the other two middle schools. Scary, scary, yet exciting times.

new sousa here! ive been practicing on contras and concert tubas, but ive only marched trombones. this is my biggest fear (i am one of the... shorter people in band. at a STRONG and STURDY 5'3" though.)

God, that’s at least 3 broken bones 6 fractured and suspension from marching band for a week or two right there. Those things weigh….. 20-30 pounds and have a sharp bell and tons of tubing that can catch you lacking.

Lake Travis High School 2013, they are our rival school, this happened at a football game against us. We have the photos we took framed and hung up in our trailer.

Oh no.... Worst part is, you can't see what is behind you, you just have to go and do what you rehearsed.... So this happens

As a guard member, 50/50 that guard girl even noticed it but if she did she was either hysterically laughing internally or panicking internally about how it would affect the score. Maybe pitying the tubas too. But mostly bracing herself for the band director screaming about the nine thousand dollar sousaphones.
