To be honest, Batman's refusal to kill the Joker makes me genuinely think he's not a hero. He's just doing it for fun. I don't remember the specific comic but I do remember the gist. Basically every year on Batman's birthday (I don't think it was his actual birthday because the Joker didn't know it so he just chose a random day) Joker would give Batman a "present". His presents were usually just terrorism that kills hundreds of people in some way. Anyways one year, the Joker doesn't do anything and that makes Batman worried. So much so that they proceed to evacuate THE ENTIRE CITY. WHY DO YOU HAVE SOMEONE SO DANGEROUS IN YOUR CITY THAT YOU CONSIDER EVACUATING EVERYONE? AND HE DOES IT EVERY YEAR? WHY IS HE ALIVE?
@@ori2377 I always thought batman kept the Joker alive because of his pride. If he gives joker what he wants then he will become worse than him is what he thinks, but that's not the case, if bat's fr puts joker down once and for all he will be praised by the citizens and feared by all the criminals fr. But nah he's just to pussy to do it.
@@rjanyday5668 batman want rehabilitate the joker,it joker the scum of the earth can change any one can change. Heck commissioner Gordon had joker at gun point and batman wasn't going to interfere,Gordon just ended up shooting joker in kneecaps. Joker literally made the trope joker immunity. DC is never going to kill in the joker because he make bank. Literally the man got an whole movie for himself
@@ori2377 - Batman isn’t a hero. He’s a brilliantly insane criminal that targets other criminals. He does what he does in the name of “law abiding,” but he also frequently breaks the bones and spirits of anyone he targets.
This is why Shikamaru is the GOAT. Got his revenge and was cold blooded about it too. I hate it when anine tries to paint revenge against an obvious evil person as a bad thing.
Yet when Sasuke did it, the narrative made it out that Sasuke was the bad guy.... which to be fair, he was... but c'mon, killing Danzo did more good than anything else. And ironically, Sasuke's quest for revenge helped the Hidden Leaf more than it harmed. If Sasuke had only kept the focus of his revenge on those responsible rather than everyone in close proximity than he'd probably be more sympathetic.
@@rojaedavis8367yea but even when he killed Danzo he was still an unsympathetic asshat. He IMPALED Karin!! I get it was strategic an all but cmon she’s been thru enough, literally the same level of trauma as Naruto and Sasuke himself, if not more
@Rojae Davis oh you must have posted this to me because you know I have a deep seeded hatred for the character so I'll explain. I was actually all for Danzo getting merked by Sasuke along with both Village Elders. All 3 deserved to die and I was behind Sasuke 100% of the way. *UNTIL* Sasuke decided that not only does he want to destroy the entire village, but he wanted to murder innocent men, women and even children. Why?, because they didn't know he ans Itachi suffered. That is it. Because he suffered and because others were living happy or at least decent lives, he wanted to kill innocent people. Thats.... not even revenge. Revenge is taking anger out on a person who's slighted and harmed you in some way. Wanting to kill kids because they're ignorant of your brother's death and suffering is utterly stupid.
@@Netherwolf6100 Idk bro I feel like he valid, why they get to be free and happy when he had to lose his family on some racist bullshit. A lot of people from Sasuke clan was innocent to, babies where killed. He supposed to just let that go?
@@mhxxd4 "Him" (capital H) is what you call a dude who's the baddest guy around. So he's basically saying he might not be THAT tough, but he's still better then "him," as in the dude they just beat down.
I would love to see a different version of abandoning revenge. I would love to see the hero forgive the villain, forego their quest for vengeance, then immediately kill the villain. When asked why, I want the hero to say: "I forgave my enemy, but they had to go." Forgiveness is not going to stop justice
Was hoping they'd go deeper. Remember what they did to your family, our sensei? Our dog bro? HE KILLED OUR DOG MAN! OUR LITERAL PET! You gotta kill him. Naw, he's finished. I'm not gonna kill him. Then move aside, I got em.
I mean it makes sense on an emotional level but logically speaking it just seems like a bad thing, if Goku killed Vegeta will there be no way that he will be able to beat Frieza or if he killed Piccolo then Raditz would have killed him, or if Naruto killed nagato before changing his mind The Village would still be dead, as a famous anime character said "just because you're right doesn't mean you're correct"
