I looked through the comments section to see if anyone else mentioned this. I couldn’t even watch the video because the background music was so disturbing!!! They shouldn’t have ANY music playing at all!!!! Even if they turned it down low, it’d still be awful.
Suggestion: Get rid of that background music. Distracting and way too loud. It serves no purpose. Viewers want to hear what you have to say, they don't want to listen to your choice of music. Thanks.
I'm not a dentist or an expert but I guess, Dentists use different types of materials for partial dentures to cater to the specific needs and preferences of patients.

Has anyone made a full upper denture with titanium palate? I had a wonderful titanium partial that worked well for over a decade. Now I have a full acrylic denture that is too bulky.
I am wondering the same so many dentists want to request for the Acrylic because it's CHEAP and sadly it's beyond uncomfortable and bulky to the point I can't talk straight all my words sound like I have a lisp it's so frustrating and many dentists such as mines didn't give me options I never knew there were different types of partial until I did research I only have 4 missing teeth and unfortunately I can't afford the implants
Let's set a few things straight here. We don't want to confuse dentist and patients watching. First....Titanium partials are by no means better than crome cobalt partials. Especially for clasp partials as clasp adjustments are not recommended. Titanium has a terrible elastic modulus in comparison to crome cobald. Second...titanium partials are basically un-repairable or none extendable. Third...print partials shrinkage can be compensated for and be adjusted for fit before casting. Forth....Crome cobalt partials can be milled as well. And fifth......bonding strenght of any veneering material is extremely low on titanium. Furthermore exposed titanium can lose its biocompatibility depending on wear, medications and acidity of the patient. I worked with titanium partials already 20 years ago and would never recommend it for clasp partials. Welding titanium for repair is a pain. Titanium frames are good for internal frames like hybrids, not so much for clasp partials.
Is a titanium implant a biocompatible material? some dentists claim that only zirconium implant without metal is biocompatible, what is the relationship between the patient's acidity and titanium in the mouth?
I'm working in dental lab now. Do you know why denture resin area turn white after taking out of boiling water and deflask ? it's really make me mad as dental technician >
Are there any partials that allows us to talk normally my crappy dentist refused to listen to my wants and concerns i made it clear the Acrylic on the roof of my mouth was giving me a hard time to speak properly to the point im talking slurred or like with a lisp
What do you mean when you say "post immediate case" in reference to Valplast? Is there a specific amount of time a patient should wait after extraction before requesting a Valplast partial?
I suppose that’s due to gum shrinkage. I had an upper partial, temporary, and a year later my gums shrinking was substantial, thus I just got my new permanent partial
You should wait 2 month. I waited 5 Werks after extraction. That was too early. Your bone will Hurt what means that you gonna think Valplast does Not fit and Hurts while you are eating.I got Valplast for 3 teeth. 35,36,45. Now I can eat anything and it feels Like my own teeth. But ist Takes time Till you get there.
I have a natural gap between my front teeth. One front tooth is loose and has to be removed. Can a partial be made to match my original teeth with the gap?
What the hell are you talking about? 0:49 "The acrylic partials don't fit well because the model gets distorted when processing"? You duplicate the virgin model and process on th duplicate. If you do it digitally the undercuts doesn't disappear by magic. 🤦♂️
@@gennadybabichenko9002 I do it both ways, digital and manually in my lab and that is why I ask. Manually you survey the model and block out the the undercuts, duplicate model and so on... I don't think you know what I'm talking about, because that is why your model got distorted? Dear Mr Babichenko, there is no difference to the technique between analogue and digital. It is only the tools! Tool do not make a Master Thecnician! If you need a computer to do everyting for you with a click of a mouse and wow all the undercuts disappear magically? No one understands magic. Do I need to say more?" you must try it Mr Bezuidenhour", it mean that there were something wrong with your technique or qualification.
Thank you for your comments. If you would like to further discuss proper digital design techniques, please call our laboratory and our certified technicians will be happy to share with you additional information.
Hi! So is a metal partial denture a good option? is your experience good? Im missing four molars in the upper jaw and Im thinking of using a metal partial denture but I have many doubts and fears. Can you chew and eat well? Do the clasps damage your healthy teeth? Greetings!
