There is something about your compositions that triggers our deep inner imagination and fills it with love nostalgia happiness and depth all at once like we aren't where we are but somewhere else for those few min. Like as if we are living memory or moment that has never happened or wish it happened or maybe it has happened. Especially this improvisation did. Only true musicians can do that. Been on repeat since you posted!

My dad was an avid guitar player and would often play till into the morning hours. He always had a hard time sleeping cause even though he had stoped playing in his mind the music played on. It was his deepest pleasure. I’m sure you can relate Stel?👍

I notice that you quoting Eric Clapton's main verse lick from "Wonderful Tonight" which ,IMHO, fits well in this context because,let's face it, if E.C. can quote Rogers & Hart's "Blue Moon (I Saw Her Standing Alone)'" in the A section of the "Sunshine of Your Love" guitar solo, then why,for Heaven's sake, should'nt it be appropriate for YOU to quote him. Thanks for watching mate! Fun fact is that I dont even notice what lines I might quote or mimic or sound like when i play, cause mostly I improvise my ideas on the spot. Also I haven't really heard much Clapton in my life.. I was pretty straight forward into the shred machines like Petrucci or Malmsteen when I first started playing. Back in the day some people used to tell me I sound like.. "that guy" or "this guy"... and I didnt even know them at that point. This is how I learned about Neal Schon for example! (crazy i know). One guy told me, "hey Stel you sound like Neal Schon". I was like.. who is he?? Never heard of him. Then Googled and found out he plays in the band "Journey" and when I had a listen on his personal stuff.. I was like.. holy crap.. that guy sounds like me! Or better.. I sound like him.. but how??? I have never heard of him before.. hahaha So yeah.. music connects us in very weird ways sometimes! But, cheers to that! :)

Stel is one of the best melodic instrumental players I've ever heard. His phrasing and note selection just hits the feels hard and doesn't let go. He's in my top five favorite players. Right next to Satriani, Andy Timmons, Jack Thammarat, and Marco Sfogli. Someone else said it earlier. Whenever I see a notification that he's uploaded a new vid, I immediately check it out. I know that it is always gonna take me some place awesome!
