I'm glad I found this channel. As a smash ultimate player who enjoys playing Kazuya a lot, I just went ahead and got Tekken. Kazuya is hard and i lose a lot, but i feel like I'm learning to game pretty well.
He's not the strongest, but he's definitely the most satysfying. Clean game, few tools, the deal is to land them. I played a lot of characters, but Kazuya is the only one i realy enjoy playing. But yeah, losing is more than common lol

After 15ish years playing Kaz I never really focused and paid attention to Oki because it's the football equivalent of Special Teams: not sexy and highly situational, but something that goes a long way when done right. Because I was looking at in a strict poking, launching and movement sense if Kaz didn't have strong moves in this area or a buffed sidestep/backdash, I thought he was mediocre. Now I embrace putting people on the ground and mindgame vortexing them to feast on their tears
I also rematch no matter what. I played against this obvious Smurf jin with my Jin and he fucked me up like 7 games in a row and demoted me but I came back and won two in a row legit outplays. It felt so good because he was way better than me. I like compulsively rematch if I lose it's dumb lol
U do know u shouldn’t kbd at close range, because of the db input will get u clipped by mids. That’s why they use a normal back dash is super useful. All the kids wanting a kbd button is stupid, because they’ll start complaining about getting clipped by mids
He's a good char but isn't very useful Kaz is obs very difficult to play and wouldn't be a good tourney char coz of the mu is so easy against Kaz he would easily take a huge L however if u know how to play against ur opponent with the char then maybe u have a chance
Green rank question guys i want to ask is it possible to get low parry from the ground like if i was in the ground and i have the read on my opponint can this happen ? if not i hope to be in tekken 8 that will be sick
High level Kazuya everybody. Repeat the same three moves the entire match over and over, then suddenly go back to green ranks as soon as you switch sides. Goddamn this character is braindead as fuck when you stop to think about it.
