@@haleynaga5671 I mean, Fromsoft did make a Gundam game(Gundam Unicorn). Haven't played it, but people have been saying it's pretty great.

@@haleynaga5671agreed. Gundam had so much fanbase but most of the game are a bit lackluster. making it a customizable gundam with AC mechanics would be super dope. Some of them do have this but not at the AC6 level

I mean I also finished it and didn't turn salty even though it me many many trys. Also this was my first amored core game, so there's that.

Is filtering people with the tutorial actually good? It's not like the rest of the game bar 2 bosses is hard.

@@mercurialblondeI personally think it’s good. Especially if you bought a game on Steam you get to refund them fast regardless of the reason.

@@chaoton but it would be stupid to quit. Like I said. After the tutorial there's only 2 other hard bosses until you get the right upgrades. It's not some super hard game. But it has weird random difficulty spikes that don't represent the game as a whole.

Her Titanfall 2 playthrough has been subtitled, and it's pretty fun. She's a huge mecha geek.

Even as an AC vet it took me 3 or 4 tries, and a lot of people simply never got through at all. But im glad death just seems to make her more determined lol

PS: I guess I should also mention that I only started on Last Raven around 4-5 years ago playing it on and off over the next 2 until I beat my first story route.

Hope you enjoy the experience. It plays a bit different from the traditional, and movement is smoother. Coming from a fan that grew up with the entire series as it was released.

@@Matrix2Strata017 Since it sounds like you've played most of the AC games I wanted to ask you something. I've heard it said that Last Raven is the hardest of the AC games, something I first heard after I had already played it for a while, and was wondering if you think that as well? I ask since it's always an interesting topic to hear about for long running series like Armored Core.

@@EnergyBurst2 It's subjective. My honest opinion, yes, it is the hardest of all the AC games for 2 main reasons. One, the player cannot have human plus (unless cheat codes) while the enemy AI ACs do have it. Not much an issue for me since I was a non H+ player (I was too dumb to figure it out). Second, FromSoftware built a unique AI from the ground up specifically for AI ACs only for AC:LR since it was the last banger for PS2 gen. This new AI system actually makes them pre-aim in front of the player, their old system the AI aims at player position at the current moment, not where they are going to be the next moment, implementing vectors instead of a simple dot system. You can see this easily using the replay system from the arena where the enemy AI AC is "twitching", but it's constantly tracking your next move. In addition, the AI AC is "aware" of your player AC loadout, it actually reads the player data and runs a bunch of calculations and determines the best strategy to use. This is why people may struggle against Lucifer and Rimfire, especially if you want to S-Rank the Rimfire mission. Because they are fast and close range builds, if you run something opposite and weaker of them, they will be very aggressive. However, if you run a similar or more powerful build, they can be more hesitant to attack you. Because of this, the player should learn good dodging, by literally "twitching" during dodging. Example, if you bunny hop dodge left, in the middle of that hopping, you need to interrupt it by making the AC shift to the right for a split second and then go back left to finish the hop. My strafe was on the R1 and L1, so it makes it easier to tap the strafes. This will throw off the enemy AI AC aim, especially against powerful weapons. People hate Bolt, but he's good to train this on. Listening for gun sounds or watching for glowing, like the Python railgun or the LX double back laser cannon, for dodging cues helps a lot. I think LR requires the most concentration of all the games, but it's my favorite by far because of that.
