BMW is good for that kind of Shield hides the oil and coolant leaks. I'll have BMW pull Shield and look for leaks. Right before warranty was up. Sway Bar/ Active Stabilizer Hydraulic .had a leak $2800 replacement .covered under warranty

"carpeted" wheel wells are another "new" thing that get me, sure; it makes the ride a LITTLE (and I mean LITTLE) quieter..... At the expense of you having to wash 5-15 pounds of mud out of them when you're washing your vehicle.
